Default Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition

Anyone got this for XBLA, I'm thinking of getting it for wither XBLA or my laptop PC but unsure if its very demanding for the latter. I've heard the PC version is better as the XBLA version is quite compressed.

Any views.

Bought the PC version over Steam and it's a joy to play, I can't imagine it being as good on the 360 due to the lack of a mouse.

I got the PC version on Steam aswell, but I have played the 360 Demo. PC versions better IMO, only if for controls, but both versions are highly playable

Will it run okay on a newish laptop. I've an HP Pavilion Entertainment laptop whatever that means with stickers on it saying intel centrino and graphics by NVIDIA

Sorry but I'm completely hopeless with PC specifications

EDIT, I've had a look and I have more than enough harddrive space and 3GB of RAM (the game only needs 512mb) but the processor recommended is Intel Pentium 4 3GHz or AMD Athlon 64 3000+ wheras I have Intel Core Duo at 2Ghz 2Ghz.

If anyone can help clue me in on whether the game will work for my Laptop please do.

You should have no problem playing it with those specs. I have pretty much the same and it runs flawlessly.

Dual Core means that you have two cores of 2 GHz resulting in a total of 4 GHz so your specs should run the game without problems.

I played the XBLA version, and it played just fine. Granted, I never played the PC version, but the XBLA version seems good enough.

Ah, cheers for that. I'm not much of a PC gamer but I was hoping my laptop would be able to handle some older games.
