Default Tale of Customer support

Short Story.

In 2007 I bought Sonic The Hedgehog for XBLA and played it for quite a while, inevitably it couldnt sustain me for 2 years in addition to my Mega Drive playthroughs so I stopped.

After the new NXE patch that came out a few days ago I noticed a Game Completion tab that showed Banjo Kazooie, I also noticed that I had 10/12 achievements for Sonic, so I thought "What the Hell". However when starting the game I was prompted to "unlock full game", which didnt make sense because I bought it 2 years ago. After deleting, recovering Gamertag and clearing cache I wrang Xbox Customer support.

The phonecall itself was a bit of a downer, I got through to someone who didnt know what Sonic was and was working with out-dated material (by the way he was describing the xbox website). Towards the end of the call, after numerous recaps (on his part) he sayed to email [email protected] and at this point I just assumed he was trying to make me go away, I bit however and just emailed them a picture of my Gamertag (they asked) and a screenshot of the purchase history.

After sending that email I did abit of digging.
A while ago I bought a new Xbox Elite, got the kit and transfered all my old content (purchases, licenses, saves, profiles etc..) to my new Xbox. I assumed this was all kosher as I could play Sonic.
I then found a link to the Xbox lincese transfer kit on the support site, I didnt expect to see this as the support team didnt know about it, whether it was like of training, or wanting to get rid of me, I don't know. But after doing this transfer online I could play Sonic again!

To my suprise I recieved a call today, my callerID showed "International - Out of Area" so i was hesitant, from a Supervisor who had read my email. He said he saw my purcahse, asked whether or not (again) if this was the only title that affected me, it was, and clarified how much I payed for it.
Again to my suprise he refunded me the amount I payed for it.

So now I have my Full Version of Sonic 1 and 400+points, I might buy Sonic 2 now

Does anyone else have a story like this?
