| Since this is my first post I shall throw in an introduction which will only appear in this initial post. The purpose of this series of threads I am planning to write, is to give people a short explanation of a game, which should help them decide whether or not they might be interested and can then perform some further research. I find that to read the very in depth reviews on all the new titles is incredibly time consuming for those of us who have limited leisure time who would much rather spend it PLAYING games than researching them. Hi folks, Grimore here, and today I will be squashing Resident Evil 5 into a single, gory, bite size piece. If you have played the previous instalment of the game, its pretty much the same except with a co-op feature, more weapons, more bonuses and the knife now sucks. If you have not played number 4 in this popular series then I would advocate the 5th as a very enjoyable action/horror game that provides plenty of visceral thrills. It focuses more on the action and some minor puzzle solving, and it is more likely to make you jump than truly horrify you. The AI for the second player is a little brain dead, but she cannot be truly amazing otherwise where would be the challenge? Due to this fact the co-op works very well since the entire game is designed with it in mind. All in all, a fantastic action game for solo or co-op play. |
