Default XBLA: Ikaruga

No refuge for Ikaruga fans

Finally the glorious day is upon us where the mighty Ikaruga can be downloaded on XBLA for a measley 800 MS points. If you have a Xbox 360 you NEED this game!

It is much better than the Dreamcast/Gamecube versions as it has a proper online scoreboard. Not only that but you can watch others replays and pick up some tips on how to get the ultimate chain!

If you are gonna invest in this make sure you add me to your gamertag list so I have some challengers to try and beat. I must admit my skillz are somewhat rusty and beating the 2nd level boss without continuing is proving difficult!

I'll definitely check it out later today, since I've missed out on it in the past.

I just Got an Xbox, But unfortunately I already own he game on the Gamecube. The 2nd Boss is tricky, But I find it helps to rotate in a cycle of Open - Bomb - Absorb - Shoot - Open - Bomb (repeat), That is if you have full power saved up at the start of the battle.

I set three demos to download the other night, C&C3, Dynasty Warriors Gundam and Fear Files, and woke up to find all three downloaded, plus, the Ikaruga trial! I was quite surprised to find it on the marketplace in NZ so soon. It seems pretty cool, but the difficulty is far beyond me. Ive only gotten up to the boss twice

Don't have an XBOX, but I own the Gamecube version. Highly recommended game. It's amazing, as most Treasure games are.
