It's heartening to see good Wiiware games coming out. VC is all very well and good but the Wii needs to be more than just a retro games holder.

I disagree with the 8, and when I read this I was like

"To be honest the Bomberman series has never really been 9 or 10-worthy. Be glad it got an 8, that still means it's very good!"

This game is a new game and shouldn't be compared to other Bomberman games as like "those weren't 9-worthy, so this game isn't 9-worthy either". This game has Wifi support, can be played with 7 friends and has new things, like new Items and Mii support. Also, in the review you make it sound like the game is almost flawless.

It's the exact same concept as the other Bomberman games, there's no huge changes. 8-player online has been done before (Saturn Bomberman, Bomberman Live). Unless the gameplay is completely different and huge fun I really don't see any Bomberman game getting higher than an 8.

To be honest, Yasume, I was surprised it got an 8! That's a very good score indeed for this kind of game. Any higher and I would have to assume it's one of the better games of all time, which seems unlikely, so I'll settle for the 8 that says it does what it does very well.
