8/10

While unfortunate that a lot of gamers missed out on the original GBA Chronos Twins, this DX version makes up for the wait. Not only does the game bring an interesting and unique gameplay mechanic to the table, it also manages to surround it with smooth controls and a lot of personality. The game might be a tad on the short side, but you're definitely in for a fun ride while it lasts. And at only 1,000 points you're getting a lot of game for your buck, which makes the experience even sweeter.
Looks interesting.

Uh, I hated that game on the DS. Can't believe it got much better.

It's from EnjoyUp, the ones that brought you
expensive broken games like Family & Friends Party
or other shovelware like Penguin&Friends: Hey! That's My Fish!

Well, I'm getting this when it's coming. IGN gave this an 8/10 too.

I picked up the DSI version and I love it. I have put way more time into this game as opposed to Dark Void Zero.

I agree, and the YouTube videos I've seen so far seem to back up your presumption too. Personally I wouldn't pass any score given by Nintendo Laff or IGN as reliable. One site being desperatly in need of being recognised for having any credibility and the other suffering from a need to completely re-find its credibility after a spate of anti-Nintendo *****ing. I predict many a rose-tinted high score from both for many months to come.

Actually I think IGN and NL reviews are spot-on for this game. I'm playing the DSi ware version. From what I understand both versions are the same aside from the graphics. Wii Ware has the 3D look while the DSi visuals look very much like a SNES for GBA Metroid title. Some of the statues look very similar to the Chozo statues of Metroid Zero Mission. The game can be quite challenging forcing you to take your time on each level and making sure it safe to move Nec from platform to platform. So far I find the puzzle solving elements to very innovative and unique by allowing the player to stop time in the past or present. Hopefully this title does not get overlooked, but if it does I would consider it a hidden gem.

Consider it overlooked, expecially now I've found a cache of Gamecube games at my local GameStation for under a fiver and Ikaruga for a tenner! Bought Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg for under three quid to get me started - man i loved that game when it first came out.

As a side note this game has a high difficulty level and if anyone can beat the rock boss monster thingy please let me know.
