Why can't they just make a good board game video game?

And to answer whoever's snarky comment about "Why not just play real board games?" I'm a drunk and knock things over or fall into stuff... Why, just last night I walked into my coffee table really hard and fell into & subsequently out of my office chair trying to do some weird ass jump into in.
