The places I looked for Baroque for $18.98 were all sold out, but I went to another store that beats prices by 10%, they called over, and apparently the person on the other end thought they were in stock or just checked their system to confirm the price, because they confirmed it, and I ended up getting it for $14.50.

+ Baroque

I didn't have the heart to tell them Odama was on sale for $4.98, because taking 10% off the difference would have made the game cost like $0.50. Actually, that would have been hilarious.

OR maybe the 10% would equal $0.50. So, taking this off the price would make it $4.48. Less hilarious I know, but also correct.

For someone who apparently has such a passion for math, you have an uncanny knack for cramming your foot into your mouth when you try to "correct" intelligent folks.

Original price: $49.99
Price at other store: $4.98
Difference: $45.01
10% of the difference: $4.50
Price-match: $4.98
Price beat by 10% of the difference = $4.98 - $4.50 = $0.48 + tax.

I didn't do it though. I already got the game at the other place for $4.98, and I thought it would be too mean... now I think maybe I should go back and do it.

You know what's funny? I tried! They called the other store and this time the other place told them they didn't have any in stock (I know they do). So I couldn't get the deal.

Also:

Math and foot to mouth cramming have nothing in common, but I can bring them together with such passion.

They got their shipment in today, and it contained one copy. That copy is now mine. This game seems to have real distribution problems.

The Monkey King: The Legend Begins

Got it for $5 (new)... Will have a full my thoughts on this game later, since I did a backloggery style master run on it inadvertantly.

That game's supposed to be real cool. One of my friends has it and is always telling me how fun it is. I've yet to play it but hopefully I'll get a chance to soon!

Yes. As a multiplayer it's a superb party game with plenty of variety. There's enough challenge in the single player and the level creator adds replay and fun.

I rented it once and loved it! My only problem with it is that you need to beat pretty much every levels in a chapter in order to unlock the next section, even in multiplayer, and the levels are hit & miss. The controls are a tad too sensitive as well, which can make some levels, such as the flashgun-style levels, more annoying than they're worth. Still, most of it was fantastic, with some truely mind boggling puzzles in the singleplayer, and the multiplayer is some of the best on the Wii.

Well, here's my list 'O games:
+Boom Blox
+de Blob
+Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
+Geometry Wars: Galaxies
+The Godfather: Blackhand Edition
+Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock
+Guitar Hero: World Tour
+Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga
+No More Heroes
+Okami
+Rock Band 2
+Sam & Max: Season One
+Super Smash Bros. Brawl
+Trauma Center: New Blood
+Wario Land: Shake It!
+Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure

Also, I highly recommend Boom Blox, LinkFanatic. I had a blast solo, with friends and with family. It is one of the few games my whole family enjoys on Wii. The others are Wii Sports, Mario Kart, and Mario Galaxy w/ co-star mode. Very rarely can I get my Dad AND Mom to enjoy playing console games but Boom Blox is always requested when I come to visit.
It is fun and great for parties. Plus the price was dropped recently so it's not $50 anymore and I have seen around the net that price was a huge hurdle for some gamers to feel a purchase was waranted.

Nice! I saw a wackily overpriced HotD:O at my local electronics shop, but I don't think it came with the handcannon, so I don't know what the issue was. I guess I'll just have to make due with the zapper.
