Just felt we needed a thread for MKWii codes, similar to the Brawl friend code thread. Mine is '3007-8337-0660', I'll show up as 'Zach'. Let's get started!

With the Mario Kart Channel, you should be able to see when I'm on. I donno how it quite works yet so I donno how you should go about contacting me to play a game or not.

If you use the Mario Kart Channel, just send the Invite via Wii-Mail. So it's a lot less cumbersome.

Well, I'll be adding everyone who posts their code in this thread. As for playing, its pretty much I'll pop my head into the online section every once in a while between a few Grand Prix modes. But currently, I'm trying to unlock stuff. And of course, there's regular life to attend to...

But at least its a lot easier to see if people are online and contact people in game than in Brawl.

Tell me about it. I was lucky enough to have five races in a row run smoothly earlier today before it went back to frequent disconnects.

This makes me wonder—maybe the problem isn't Brawl's online functionality, maybe the problem is North America's online functionality...

Earlier today the Online WFC for both Brawl and Mario Kart went down at the exact same time. And it was on Nintendo's side.

It makes me think Nintendo is using the same servers or something to run both games. If they didn't learn how bad the Brawl service was doing for the first few weeks (and still is as many people can't connect to 'With Everyone' matches without many tries), why in the WORLD would they also use those same servers/portals for Mario Kart Wii?

The online for Mario Kart was doing very good, until this.

This has always been my suspicion. Why not, after all?!

You'd think they could sink some of that $500 billion back into sweet worldwide networks that work.

If we get at least 12 people we can do a pretty fun league I think. Do differrent cups on different days at specific speeds, maybe stuff like that.

Yeah, I'd be pretty cool if 1 day a week we could get 8 to 12 people together and play group races.

I played some online last night and twincross was around so I played against him. I got the same old turn the system off message after 3 races again only this time when I went back into the game I got the tiny titan car for winning 50 online races. The thing is I've barely played 10 online races to say the least of winning 50. I think these disconnects are hurting my game.

You raced me? Was that in a Worldwide versus or something? I can't remember >.<

In other news, how's everyone doing on the competition so far? My best time atm is 1:50.

A lousy 2:06, but then I've only tried once so far. I doubt I'll ever get close to 1:33.

Ya it was on a worldwide race. I beat you the first race but you were in second place come the 2nd or 3rd race.
