| Just got a message on my Wii telling me there's a new update available. I quote it exactly. "This update will prevent your Wii from locking up, which can occur when using the Internet Channel if you press RESET on either your Wii console of the HOME Menu. This update also corrects some Internet connection stability issues when using the Wii LAN Adapter from Nintendo." Gah, that actually got me hoping for something more important, like a new Wii channel, but ah well.

| Casual gamer since 1978 | Updating. Thanks! (don't know who I'm thanking...you that notified me, or Nintendo.....) Did you noticed it's still labeled 3.0? Not that I care so much, but they make us mad for versioning the software we realease at work....

I think I received just one of the Nintendo e-mails, it was about the Everybody Votes channel release. Every other time I burnt Nintendo messaging system and downloaded the software before they noticed me....

| I'm not sure if it's to do with the update or what, but after downloading the update to the update (patch for LAN errors - 14/08 ) I've noticed that whenever I play a VC game or Gamecube game my LCD TV autoswitches from 16;9 to 4:3. It never did this before the update. It only works on GC or VC, I tried Raving Rabbids and Warioware (both are 4:3) and they stay stretched. Anyone else getting this? Atec 42" LCD TV, Wii on Official Componant cable. |

| This patch has sorted one or two issues I had with the Wii, so it's all good. I like it when my blue LED glows. It's pretty. |

| Lemmy Koopa | Yeah when my light glows I get all excited and happy I just got the update an hour ago and i thought it was my new wii menu notice just late. But I'm happy with my update before If I go on the internet for a long time my wii would get slow and lazy but not any more. Hmm now they just need a better movie player and some thing like a "my documents"
