Default Decent priced Wii arcade stick

Hi I have just pre-ordered Tatsunoko vs. Capcom and was wondering if you had any suggestions for a decent fighting stick to use in the game.

Way to help out there, moron.
Seriously, you can find a fight stick on the Wii for about $35-$50 (which is way better than the $100+ stuff for PS3/360). I suggest the Hori fight stick, it retails at about $50 on Amazon and has the same quality you'd expect from other Hori arcade sticks.

I believe the stick is setup to be read as a classic controller's Dpad and not the left analog stick. So you may not be able to play every game you'd think you could with it, but if you're just looking to play some VC shooters and Tatsunoko vs Capcom it really shouldn't be an issue for you.

Ignore Slavko, the numbers after his name are evidently a representative figure of the number of braincells he was born without.

So are you trying to imply that you were born 7 brain cells short of a normal human being?

No, in my case it was 7 more than the average superhuman. Thanks for asking.

If the game supports GC controllers then this stick looks pretty nice and is about half the cost of a Hori stick which seems the best Wii alternative.

however even with my 7 extra braincells, I've no idea whether or not the game supports GC controllers, so you'll need to find out first.

I can vouch for the Hori Fighting Stick Wii. Great stick for VC shmups, Street Fighter II, etc., and it sounds like Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is going to be the next reason for me to keep it. Very sturdy/solid build/feel. If it's only $50 or so, then it's a good deal.

You could always get the fightstick that was made for the game...Called the Tatsunoko VS Capcom Fightstick.

I would be wary. I had their GC arcade stick and the quality of the joystick was terrible, completely lacking in the sensitivity and clickyness required for these types of games.
Can't comment on whatever Wii stick they put out but I'm hoping for your sake its an improvement over the GC one.

Actually, the Madcatz fight sticks are quite good... I have the limited edition SF4 stick for the 360, and it works great. In fact, I prefer it to the "sour apple" green stick Hori released right about the time of Virtua Fighter 5 (my friend has that one, and it just doesn't play as well as the Madcatz for some weird reason).

1.You can usually get them from game shops If you ask (there usually on display behind the counter)

2. A lot of people find fighting games easier to play with them (assuming there well made) and there closer to the feel of the arcade originals.

The same reason why people get DDR Pads for DDR and Guitars for Guitar Hero.
