Ugly, I think they make the Wii Remote look much more attractive!

With the normal remote, no. Although it feels better, I find that with the jacket on it interfears with the remotes sensitivity, thus making it harder to play some games. Also, It's really annoying having to take it off when I use my Nyko Classic Controller grip.

But with WiiMotionPlus, I always keep it on. It seams easier to slip the remote in and out with this one, and it looks even better than before, as the remote looks full sized. Now that the grips longer, it feels even better in your hands, and I find no reason to take it off, as the sensetivity is just right.

I always use it. It's far more comfortable to hold. It also gives the controller some heft, which makes it more fun to swing around.

i do, thats why i dont use a lot of attachments, because you have to take it out of the sleeve. i think it has a lot to do with the fact that it came with it on. i think anyway.

either way .... i use em. i got black ones off ebay, but i searched extra hard for ones that were the same cushy style as the ones it came with.

also got them for the 'chuk and classic controller, all black.

No protection here. Unless an alcohol influenced game of Wii tennis is about to happen...

I never use them.

I got the Wii on day of release and 3 extra Wii remotes shortly afterwards, so I have the original Wii remotes, without the thick plastic rings or the snap-shut connector on the strap.... the really 'unsafe' ones.

I've never had a problem, but I can see how some of the new WiiMotion Plus games will be able to make people swing the controller around like a mad man. I get waaay too into the swords play games.

Also: point of note, when I bought my new TV' a couple of weeks ago, it was mentioned that they (the people whom I bought the accidental damage cover) were in talks with Nintendo about potentially making 'damage by Wiimote' not come under 'acidental damage'. Not sure how they figure that one. I imagine they'd simply had a huge number of accidental damage claims under that reasoning.

I don't like them, I don't even use the straps unless I'm playing Wii Sports

I use the jackets and the straps. I actually went to the trouble of getting the free jackets from Nintendo through the mail, as I bought my Wii & wiimotes before they came with the jackets. I dunno why I play so protected, I never get carried away with my games (although my hands do get pretty sweaty ^_^

I perchased my two remotes at launch so not only do I not own the jackets I also don't have the thick straps. Of course I didn't bother getting them from Nintendo since I never use the strap anyway.

I lob 'em at my step-brother when he takes all the mushroom houses in SMB3. They were free so I got four of them.

I very rarely use Wii Remote jackets. I only ever use it for Defend Your Castle, since your arm can ache for a while.

Playing with the Wii Remote Jacket is like taking a shower with a rain coat on.

I go strapless, too. There's nothing attatched to my 'mote but me.

I always use the jackets.
They provide a better grip, and making the wiimote a little bulkier also helps fitting better in my (adult) hands.

And I also find them more comfortable because they cover the edge where the upper and lower part of the wiimote are attached. I always found those ridges annoying to my palm.

I like how the jackets feel during gameplay, so I always use them. Plus, it makes me worry a lot less when my toddler neice grabs them when she's over.

I actually use them in most games now, they feel a lot better. But I take 'em off when I play Brawl, the slightest change in the controller will throw me off.

You don't use a classic or Gamecube controller for Brawl .
