| Aww, crud. The sync page isn't updated. I thought neuzd would update it with the day of the weekend we'd have the race after I got home from Cyprus. That means we'll have to contact people individually. Which cup comes after the Flower Cup, btw? |

| Casual gamer since 1978 | Forget my help. You are a terrible host, Trapster. You are so terrible that probably no one but Yossarian has noticed that you wanted to race yesterday. I'm not going to worry about your championship anymore, and if you were asking if it's true, yes I DID worry about the fate of the league in these 2 weeks when you didn't care about anything, not even trying to find a substitute host. Bye bye.

| If you didn't notice, I've been on vacation for a WEEK in Cyprus. I couldn't possibly organize anything from there and I was busy packing before the trip too. I wasn't ignorant towards the league. Gimme a break, please. I just got home. And yes, I did want to race yesterday but in the end I was too tired from the Cyprus trip. |

| Casual gamer since 1978 | It was. The next round wasn't decided yet. Quote:
I knew you were out for some time, but no one took you place, and I really couldn't figure out that your trip would have ended in time for the "usual meeting time". This is the proof to my assertion. You don't even know which is the next round. I am a person that rarely lends his help, but when I do, I do it because I think I can actually improve others experience or ease the job. But I pretend the same level of "professionality" from the people I'm working with. You may think I'm taking it too seriously, but that's the whole point. I don't think you are doing your job in a satisfactory way.

| I copied a list of the cups to my computer now. Next up is the Star Cup but we need more opinions about the ideas I quoted in post number #110 in this thread. An open tournament makes the list of participants virtually as big as the amount of active users on this forum, not excluding the ones who actually owns the game. Still, I need a list of friendcodes people can check. Alright, peeps. Speak up. Last edited by Trapster; 12th October 2009 at 08:49 PM. |

| Well, I hope so too. But if we're gonna have an open league/tourney we need more people's opinions. On the other hand, new participants can jump in whenever they want. |

| I'll check in on Sunday. my 49ers are off this weekend. Sorry I didn't check in last Sunday I was ****ED off the 49ers played so TERRIBLY, unexpected for a very disciplined and intense team... I turned the TV off and went outside and did yard work, thankfully I cleaned the gutters because it POURED today... You gotta be patient Trapster, and now the competition is open to everybody, more participants may join in... How was your vacation Trapster? Hit the beaches?

| Yeah, and I managed to burn the lower parts of my legs. (The one just above the foot. Well, half of it.) It was hot as hell and full of cats too. But very beautiful scenery. As for the competition now being an open one, we still have an issue with the possible prize for the winner of the whole thing. And I thought I told you we were gonna change the date of the meet-ups to Saturdays. Last edited by Trapster; 14th October 2009 at 08:55 PM. |

| The first post has been updated. Btw, Skull, you meant that new participants can jump in each new season, right? I mean, since we already have 12 people for the current one? Last edited by Trapster; 15th October 2009 at 01:08 AM. |

We gotta make it easy for people to jump in and out throughout the year, accumulating points... if we have overflow we can switch over to an tournament style but lets not worry about that right now...

Then I wonder if the numbers in the first post are needed or just the participants names and codes.

| Oh boy. Good that you reminded me. You did read the new posts about the...uh, updates of the league, right? We might have an issue with the sync page since the owner doesn't think I'm good enough if I don't get everything right the very first time I try anything. Like hosting a league. Would you please alert the others and possibly additional interested people in the chat? |

| Nice update Trapster! I agree whole heartedly, and I like the time you picked. Just to reiterate, for those of you actively participating, please add others to your friends list on Mario Kart. I have Trapster and that is it, while still waiting on about 6 of you to add me. See you guys Saturday!!! |

| I thought I added you already, though. I'll check that later today. Edit: Btw, it'd be good if you guys could spread the word about the league being an open one to get more participants. I have no way to advertise it on the site. Last edited by Trapster; 22nd October 2009 at 03:05 PM. |

| Hey Trap I suggest advertising it in your signature and adding a link to here. say something like " Love to Compete in MK? join the VC Forums tournament and get a chance to win VC games at the end of the year" or somethin like that?? (be original and think of something cool and catchy) Also, I think accumulating points over 1 year would work a bit better than having seasons because we don't have enough participants every week...

@Ausden: Aaand of course I forget to check if I had you added. Sorry. Just got a lot going on atm. @LinkFanatic: http://www.timezoneconverter.com/cgi-bin/tzc.tzc Edit: Oh, and btw. Does someone know if it's possible to join a room I create if people just add me on MKW? Dammit! My sig becomes too large with that advertising link in it aswell. I'll have to remove my friendcodes and put them in my profile. Last edited by Trapster; 23rd October 2009 at 08:31 PM.

| ok we can just do the points for a full year, then rank everyone in seeding, the people who has high points gets a BYE for the first and some get 2nd round BYEs or something. it will all depend on how many people participates... for example, IF we get 36 participants in a full year, (number may not be realistic but I'm just making an example) 1st round, we do 2 separate races of 12 for the bottom seeds (13-36) then the top 3 in each circuit gets to advance to the 2nd round and race the middle seeds (7-12) then the top 6 advances to the final round, which someone has to win a circuit TWICE to be declared the champ! Does that sound like a good idea? if theres less participants we can clip off parts of the 1st round and give less BYEs

| Luckily, I woke up half an hour ago. I did wake up once earlier but fell asleep again. I'll be ready. Edit: People, people. I'm just one hour after the UK in time. Not two. 11pm GMT is 12am BST. Edit: All those positive things/responses and where were you when we were supposed to race? I sat several hours trying to work things out for the better. To try and make it more organized and clear. I did it for you guys. And because I got critique and tried to improve it. I deserve a bit more recognition than this. Like you guys being THERE when we're supposed to race. Sorry to whine, but that's the way it is. I'm not trying to be an ass but you gotta do better than this. More participants means more fun for everybody. | Lakitu | Honestly, people, where are you? We just had this week's race; only me, Trap, and Ausden showed up. Sure, it's fine if something else gets in the way, but it'd be really nice if you could at least post if you find you can't take part. |

| Do you like my helmet? | I told Trap hours before the race that I wouldn't be there. And Trap, re: your post on my profile, I'm not trying to be a dick or anything when I say I'm not going to do something. You can't rely on me to help because I'm just not involved with the planning and organization of this league. Never have been. Same thing with neuzd. He lent you his page, but he wasn't going to help you run the league. Anyway, I'll race in it when I'm around for one of the scheduled matches, but that's the extent of my participation. |

| That's all I wanted you to do, Jogurt. Participate in the races. And it's all I ask of the others aswell. I wasn't asking you to help with the planning. Flamin Skull is assisting me with that. His ideas were great. Edit: Can't remove the message in your profile, it seems. Last edited by Trapster; 25th October 2009 at 08:28 AM. |

| Mega mole | My sincerest apologies, guys...I had every intention of racing until my wife reminded me an hour before race time of my daughter's halloween thing with one of her friends. Unfortunately, the parents had to stay there until 9pm when it was over. I totally forgot I told my daughter we would take her there, so I apologize....don't know what else to say. |
