Okay guys...my job just changed my hours a bit. From 4:30pm until sunset, which right now is around 7:30pm (all times are eastern, btw) I will be unable to brawl, but now I'll be able to be available from 10am until 3pm M-F, all day Saturday. Sunday i'm out from 1pm-7pm (football season, you know). Need to get these round robins taken care of....let me know. Thanks.

Sorry to say this, but the tournament will have to be put on hold for me. My grades haven't been so hot lately, so my mom has my Wii (and the rest of my game consoles) taken away until she sees some improvement.

So far I've beat bowser, Kanti, and DB in sudden death and lost to Trapster in sudden death... I think this may mean that randomness is the great equalizer! When both players suck with their given characters, the matches are pretty tight.

Might say that I've won most of my matches. Lost maybe...3-4, I think. Not exacty sure on the number.

This tourney kind of died, huh? I haven't had time for brawls here lately...the wife insists on playing Mario Kart all the time all of a sudden

Not that I know of. It's up to folks to get their brawls in. If there's been enough of a lull, then I'll assume everyone's done brawling and move on. I'll assume that anyone who hasn't actually finished is dropping out voluntarily.

Now that the server is fixed, I have about 10 match updates to edit into the main post, and I'm removing Clayfrd.

Hm. It's been kinda hard planning matches with some people due to their inactivity. It's not that I'm inactive myself but there are some participants that I've never seen post thier games. Either that or just one or two. When I saw that, I kinda took a break. Sorry, Jogurt.

This'll sound like I'm trash-talking people, but really, it isn't.

You know neiluj95 and Rebellion? They're in the tourney but I haven't even seen them on the forums since the signed up. I mean, I usually scroll down to check the userlist when I want to plan some matches but not once have I seen those guys down there. Invisible-mode, I know. But still. One'd think that they'd at least speak up once in a while.

Edit. PMs...well...just checked the userlist. neiluj hasn't been here for two weeks and Rebellion hasn't visited since the 3rd of September.

The system should still let you send PMs regardless of when they last signed in.

Yes, but what I mean is that it gives you a little insight on how often they might visit the forums.

Edit: I'll send them a PM right away, sir Jogurt.

Have we brawled already? If not, I can fight you today, in about 3.5-4 hours.

Sorry, but it looks like I'm out of the tournament, seeing as I can't do any matches. My wifi connection is screwed up, and I can't fix it right now. I hope this won't prove to be a problem for the tourney.

Sorry to hear it. Maybe everything will be up and running for the next one. It won't be a problem to take you out of the tourney this time though.

Since I now have an infant son to go with a 3 year old, and because my job of 9 years is now forcing me to take an hour lunch, my playing time has been temporarily cut in half. However, I refuse to drop out at this time. So I will do my best to schedule some matches in an attempt to catch up. So look for me this weekend on the forums. In all honesty though, my playing time is going to be dedicated to some of the games coming out in the next 2 weeks.

It would be SO much easier if you could see if your friends are on their Wii and what they’re doing…..like Live and I’m guessing the PS Network.

I won't let you of all people drop out, DK, because I know you can make time to play. Any chance you'll be around after 4:00 eastern today?

If not, I'll look for you this weekend (most likely Sunday, since Saturday is Halloween after all).

I just started kicking an ungodly amount of ass in Shadow Complex before work, so I might not Brawl tonight...

Well, maybe a couple tourney matches with some of the chat regulars (Jogo, Trapster, ****face I mean Kanti).

Tony just beat me 3-2. You lucky *******! I killed myself right at the start, and then I had you at the end when I was chucking Samus's suit at you and breathing fire. You just ran down the clock like only Dedede can.

LordBowser vs Tony

LordBowser: KO: 7 Falls: 4
Tony: KO: 4 Falls 7

Pretty good game there Tony. We were pretty much taking turns knocking each other off the first few minutes, then I had that eye of the tiger thing going the last few minutes of the match. Feels good to be able to finally use the Koop again.

Jogurt: 8 KO, 7 Falls
hansolo: 7 KO, 8 Falls

Pretty much a back and forth of Golden Hammer homeruns and Golden Hammer drownings, with a few Hammer-on-Hammer clashes for good measure.

Now that the server is fixed and a few more matches have been done, I've gone back and updated the current round-robin standings. There are still a LOT of matches left to be done, so send out those PMs! Basically, a good idea would be to send a PM to everyone you haven't brawled yet with a list of times you think you could be available for a match.

Kanti has a handy lead on the competition, but it's a tight race for second place!

UPDATED ROUND-ROBIN STANDINGS

1. Kanti 3000: 62-41 (+19, 2 SD, 14 matches complete)
2. hansolo350: 58-45 (+13, 0 SD, 15 matches complete)
3. lordbowser: 40-28 (+12, 0 SD, 12 matches complete)
4. digiki: 25-14 (+11, 0 SD, 6 matches complete)
5. Jogurt the Yogurt: 28-22 (+6, 0 SD, 7 matches complete)
6. neiluj95: 22-16 (+6, 0 SD, 8 matches complete)
7. Trapster: 36-31 (+3, 2 SD, 11 matches complete)
8. Rebellion: 16-15 (+1, 0 SD, 6 matches complete)

9. The shoemaker: 17-17 (+0, 0 SD, 4 matches complete)
10. RADE: 0-0 (+0, 0 SD, 0 matches complete)
10. Slayerking45: 0-0 (+0, 0 SD, 0 matches complete)
12. rshadowkirby: 5-6 (-1, 0 SD, 2 matches complete)
13. Mr. Cheez: 2-3 (-1, 0 SD, 1 match complete)
14. Diebythesword: 1-2 (-1, 0 SD, 1 match complete)
15. Tides of Chaos: 17-18 (-2, 1 SD, 4 matches complete)
16. Shadesofgray: 0-3 (-3, 0 SD, 1 match complete)
17. Kiwi the Tortoise: 20-22 (-3, 1 SD, 6 matches complete)
18. dk_xcalibur: 9-13 (-5, 1 SD, 2 matches complete)
19. PoisonRamune: 5-11 (-7, 1 SD, 2 matches complete)
20. King Elemento: 39-45 (-8, 2 SD, 12 matches complete)
21. enigmaopoeia: 14-27 (-14, 1 SD, 6 matches complete)
22. Yossarian: 7-22 (-16, 1 SD, 5 matches complete)
23. Tony: 24-40 (-17, 1 SD, 8 matches complete)
24. LinkFanatic: 9-24 (-19, 4 SD, 4 match complete)

It looks like the only people who haven't had at least one match are RADE and Slayerking45. Everyone should send them a PM to try to get them back here and into the game.
