Rumble support?

I've yet to buy any controllers specifically suited for VC games, and just wondered if (a) the GC controller has a rumble feature and (b) if so, is it supported by GC (on the Wii) and VC games (specifically N64 ones)?

Sorry if this has been discussed, I searched the forum but couldn't find anything.

Welcome to the forums, but I'm sorry to say that no game on the VC supports rumble. The rumble pak with Star Fox 64 was one of the coolest things ever, it's too bad it is not part of the VC game.

Oh well. I'll likely be playing SNES and C64 stuff most of the time, anyway.

Does anyone know what happens if you use that N64 pad adaptor and play a rumble game on the Wii with rumble pak inserted. I'm presuming it doesn't work but you never know as the adaptoid for PC worked with rumble paks on an N64 emulator.

I have an adapter and the rumble still doesn't work.

If you're talking about the adapter, I'd say it is definitely worth getting if you plan on playing N64 games on the VC. The biggest problem with the CC and GCN controllers when it comes to VC is that they don't really mimick the C-buttons well. The specific adapter I purchased also came with about 10 different button configurations that could cover any game that wasn't even on the N64 like mapping the SNES's X,Y,L,R-buttons to the C-buttons so you could play Street Fighter properly etc.
