Wii has no loading time, and the saving is done immediately compared to the black screen on GCN.
Using a GCN controller, you can even experience the exact same controls.

Otherwise there's no significant difference, so there's no need to get both of them if you already have one (even though I did, mwehehe).

The VC's version is better. It just needs a rumble feature.

For PAL users, the GameCube version is better as it runs in 60Hz.

By the way, the game only renders one in every three frames. So in 60Hz it runs at 20fps (borderline acceptable), at 50Hz it runs at 16.333... fps (which is a seriously bad framerate).

And you get Rumble on GameCube.

then why not just use a Gamecube controller and play the Zelda OoT wii Verison. so you get great Zelda play and a rumble feature. (Am almost positive that you can use the GC controller on the Wii Version of Zelda OoT)

Because the Wii VC version does not support rumble at all and runs in 50Hz for PAL-users!

Track down a Zelda Collector's Edition GC disk, it's way better value especially for PAL-users as all games on it play in 60Hz, it plays fine in a Wii (and remember you need a GC memory card).

Sorry, but Rumble makes up for the slow saving times. If the Wii one day supports rumble, then yes, it will be better, but for now, not in my opinion
