Default New Wii Console Colors and Classic Controller! - New Wii Controllers

There are new Black and Blue Wiis and new Classic Controllers(Wii Classic Controller PRO) on the horizon:

http://www.engadget.com/2009/06/22/b...-behind-glass/

For info on the Wii Classic Controller PRO:

IMO: I don't care about the new colors that much, even though I would like a (Black Wii), I'm guessing everyone on this site already has a Wii. This new Controller will be awesome though, I'll definitely be buying the new Wii Controllers, Remotes and Nunchucks.

I know, I said on the horizon. Meaning they should be here soon enough for other regions, not officially, but we all know Nintendo won't hold this from us.
Most companies release things in Japan before other countries anyway, so they can see how well they will sell, there would be no point in not selling these in other countries.

This should be perfect for anyone importing a Wii.

I'm guessing the new Controllers L2 and R2 are just the Z buttons, but this is still very good, I hated the last placement of the Z buttons.
Maybe L1 and R1 are the Z buttons.

Yeah, If I was buying a new Wii now, I would choose the black one, or maybe I would choose the white one,
in in honor of Michael Jackson's strange skin.

Black console with that blue light would be awesome. Dunno about the Classic Controller though, don't really see a reason for the changed button position since the Z-buttons are rarely (never?) used. The classic controller is just a SNES pad and should be used like one.

When I heard they were releasing a new classic controller, I was hoping the button layout would be more like the SNES controller, alas. I'm sure the original classic controller, the GCN controller, and the Super Famicom classic controller will keep all my bases covered for a while.

I hope those new controller colours eventually get released outside of Japan though.

The new Classic Controller does really seem to have the analog joysticks more distant one from the other.

If anyone of you has played Geometry Wars Galaxies with the double analog set, will know this was another much needed update.

Certainly seems like that comparing it to this picture.
I used the pointer in Geometry Wars and I'm often using dual-analog sticks on the PS2 controller so it's not that much of an upgrade for me

Meh, I was hoping for something more along the lines of Saffron or something. I'll pass - my fingerprint will stick out like my sore thumb on those black controllers and buttons.

Whoah, that is really awesome! Nintendo definitely needs to make this and include some VC NES games on it as well.

I rather have a longer cord between the classic controller and the Wii- Mote than seeing this.
