Lightbulb Gameboy and DS player on Wii!!!

This is just an idea, but I think it would really sell. You know like the Gabcube had a gameboy player which could allow gameplay of GB games on you big screen, I think that they shouold do this again but with a DS cartridge aswell. I never had a Gamecube but I have a Wii so for people like me, this would be a really good idea! What do you think?

How would you play DS games on your TV?

While the idea is nice, especially since one could utilize the Wiimote as a DS stylus. Maybe in the far future they may implement some kind of GBA Player for the Wii since the DSi cannot play GB/GBA titles. But more than likely they won't jump on the idea since the DS already play most GB/GBA games and it still sells strong IIRC.

I would love to see a DS Player, but I dunno how good that would do. But I already own a Wii, DS, and a GameCube with a GBA Player. So I have all of my bases covered.

I don't see nintendo making a player for any of its defunct systems, especially in light of its focus on virtual consoles for Wii and DS.
Why would they want to create a boom in the second hand GBA market when they can rerelease the games as downloadable titles and make money out of it?
Its a shame that someone can't make a cable that would hook up the GB player to the Wii though as the boot disk loads up fine but unfortunately there's no serial port.

It sounds like a good idea, but how will the DS controls be emulated on the Wii? And I can't see Game Boy games been supported either, since Nintendo haven't bothered with Game Boy compatibility since the orginal DS came out.

The same way they are emulated on a DS emulator I imagine, with the Wiimote replacing the mouse.
