This thread is concerning the upcoming Wii Freeloader, manufactured by Datel: http://uk.codejunkies.com/Products/W..._EF000595.aspx
Although I'm still sceptical about it, tonight someone on another forum posted questions and answers from his conversation with a codejunkies employee, which confirmed that it couldn't be rendered useless by any form of an update. It also detailed how, in the unlikely instance of it being rendered unusable, they will send a replacement disk once one has been created, if proof of purchase is provided. It's been released on March 14th, and if enough people confirm that it works with Brawl after the system update, I will be getting it. It's only £9.99 after all. Anybody else considering getting/already bought it? |

I might, it seems interesting enough. Although first I think my money needs to be spent on Brawl and then LoZ: TP because there is some interesting homebrew there....

I'm definitely considering getting it, since theres probably going to be a lot of games the US will get that europe never will.
I still would like to a read a bit more about it first though. What would happen if you had saves of different versions of the same game? Would they overwrite? Corrupt the memory?

Yeah, he's probably talking about what happens if you try to load an NTSC save with a PAL game and vice versa. Unfortunately, I doubt it'll work, but I may pick up the PAL version of Brawl when it comes out to test it.
I've pre-ordered my copy of Brawl and my freeloader, so they should be here in about 2 weeks. Checking various forums and message boards, it seems Brawl has an obscene amount of pre-orders, anyone know the numbers?

By the way, I've heard from people in the UK who have the Japanese version of Brawl that the 'Play Anyone' mode in Wi-Fi (randomers) doesn't work, hopefully the US version will have full online for us importers... I've heard that playing against registered friends works fine though. Not sure of the numbers though, I hope I get mine. I should though, considering I ordered it today. |

Didn't know it was out. IMO THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR ANY EU GAMER!
Buying now (Hopefully. SOLO cards aren't accepted everywhere).

My card isn't accepted. Despite having a SOLO sign, they don't take Solo. So, hopefully my Maestro will arrive soon.
Where'd you get Brawl from? e-Bay don't have any Brawl importers
