Default We've got Battle Lode Runner, now its time for Konami to jump in

Simply for one reason:

Gradius

The TG-16 version of this game is the true arcade version and I'm pretty sure the most of you wouldn't think it an average shooter at all.

In order to protect the aggressor “[bakuterian]” empty and planet “[guradeiusu]” of outer space, last trump “super spatial-temporal fighter plane vick viper” departs.
While the vick viper (our machine) power making raise, defeating the [bakuterian] corps which expects, you will aim toward the fortress “[zerosu]” which is center of the enemy.

This really wouldn't take much translating either.

The problem with releasing this one on the VC is that it would probably do 2 negative things. One it would sort of compete with the NES, which is considered a classic in its own right. Two, it might **** a lot of people off who already bought the NES one.

No, I want the Tg16 version of Fantasy Zone which is the closest to arcade version made for any home system.

If they've done it in Japan, they really should release it over here ASAP.

I'd get this one, but not the NES version, since it has no nostalgic value for me and I'd rather play a good conversion.

@pocketmego: Who cares? Japan has both, why not America, Europe, and Australia too?

I didn't know Japan had gotten both. So, they probably will bring it to the VC then. But, it's always hard to tell with the Japanese games on the VC. Remember that the TG16 failed originally in the West because NOA's control of the American market didn't allow it's successful Japanese games to come over to the States. Thus the TG16 limped along with only a few Japanese games and mostly poor American or European produced games for the system.

They got Gradius for the PC Engine in Japan, did Gradius come out on the TG16 in the US or Europe?

Nope but, neither was Battle Lode Runner. Which, of course, is why I mentioned it in the first place.

If Konami releases any of their Turbo games I hope its Rondo of Blood. Great Castlevania that never made it state side.... I don't count Dracula X because it was more of a re-imagining of Rondo.
