Default Will we see Double Dragon?

I have MANY fond memories playing that game both in the arcades at pizza after my baseball games and playing the ports (which wasnt as good as arcade but still decent) Who made that game? I totally forgot (hope its not rare or sqenix) any news on that at all? if not is there at least a gamecube or DS version?

Who knows when that will come out, would be nice if it does.

By the way, it was published by Taito: same publishers of Bubble Bobble.

Well... thereŽs a quite good GBA version with exclusive levels and stuff, but regarding newer platforms youŽll have to put up with Dodgeball Brawlers, for now.
But who knows what franchise will the ex-Technos guys re-revive next, keep your fingers crossed.

I hated the GBA version. XBL:A's version stinks too IMO.

I had the Sinclar Spectrum version and finished it in one day. Then I got the Game Boy version for xmas (when I also got the Game Boy and a load of other games) and failed miserably to finish it for yeeears. Frustrated the hell out of me, but oh so satisfying when I finally managed it.

How similar was the NES version to the GB one?

The best version of the game was the one made for sega genesis. My brother and I rented that game so much and beat it everytime but it was a blast. Compared to the sega genesis version the NES version sucked.

Super Double Dragon was also a great game which I still own. 7 Levels but the 3rd one had some classic DD music.

I thought the NES version was pretty awful - they didn't even have a two-player option. The SMS version was actually a lot more faithful to the arcade game.

Though really, the game hasn't aged all that well. There are far better beat em up options on the VC like Golden Axe or Streets of Rage.
