I want to bid on this item, but how do I know it's real?

I've never bid on ebay before so I'm very nervous. I want the Club Nintendo Super Famicom controller. It's sold by this seller, but I would like a way to know if this seller is legit and if the item is not a copy or fake.

I looked at his ratings and they are perfect! 100%. The reason I am skeptical is that he has so many of these Wii Super Fam controllers. Where did he get so many if they are limited edition to Club Nintendo members?

I didn't think they were Club Nintendo only; I thought you could buy them in Japan. I guess I'm wrong. Maybe he had tons of points and just blew them all on controllers?

I think it was a bit of both. As far as I know, only Japanese Club members could trade in club points for them...

So these will work in conjunction with non-Japanese systems? I always assumed they would but someone made a post a while back somewhere that hinted that they wouldn't. I may think about bidding on one of these myself.

It is only a controller extension. I'm not even sure they can be region locked. I hope this is not the case....

I don't think they can. That's why I was thrown for a loop when someone mentioned it before.

Hi! This is going to sound real noobish, but I'll take the chance.

I never used ebay because of the scams that people fell for. I was wondering if you bid on the item and win it then do you pay for it using paypal through an ebay link or do you go to the paypal website and pay through an email address that the seller gives you?

Also, how will they know your address?

Finally, how much did you pay to win?
