Default Virtual Console Game Updates

Well, I suppose due to all the threads popping up, we may as well just have 1 thread for the updates added to games after release.

-Donkey Kong Country- April
Fixes Wii Component Cable support.

-Mario Kart 64- 13th February
Fixes a glitch which occurs when the character select screen is left running for too long.

-Military Madness- 13th February
Fixes glitch that makes scrolling around the battlefield very slow.

-Lylat Wars- June
To be filled in soon once I find out for certain.

-Super Castlevania IV- April
Fixes Wii Component Cable support.

-Super Mario Bros.- April
Fixes Wii Component Cable support.

-The Legend of Zelda- April
Fixes Wii Component Cable support.

-All TurboGrafx games that came out in AU after EU
Apparently nothing...

I don't actually know what all of them are, and what the do, so it'd help a lot if you could post what you know

Thanks for that Drake
I just don't know much about the updates really, but this only takes a few minutes to update and is better than having lots of different topics!

Yes. Only ones NA's had are:

Military Madness: Same reason as EU update.

Mario Kart 64: Same reason as EU update. I think there was another as well, but I can't rremember what it did.

Star Fox 64: No clue. This one has everybody stumped, actually.

Thanks

Is it worth me putting the NA updates in as well? If I do, I'd need someone to tell me exactly what to put, as I clearly wouldn't have a clue.

Well, just edit your first post with new info on updates and make sure the updates are correct, but ofcours, if they are not you can just edit them away.

I have no idea my self, but last i heard some one talk about it was that it calibrated the movement in the game for better sync (this making the game go slower because of a side effect)
but i havent read any official word on what it does, so don't truse my word on that

Like I said somewhere else on this board, the DKC update is for having additional lines on the screen that were missed before the update.
it makes the playing screen bigger (so it's like the original on SNES). and now you can see the hidden barrels on the bottom of the screen that were invisible before.

could you add that?

The recent Lylat Wars EU update is indeed pretty strange. I can't find any differences, except the game suddenly takes 8 more blocks of space.
