What are some of your favorite multiplayer games(a clone of the co-op thread).

Pinball has the best multiplayer in my house. My family and I always go head to head on this game.

As far as party games go, Bomberman 93 is great fun for a lot of people at once, I've had a few 5 player games and its definitely worth 600 points.

I actually tried to get Battle Lode Runner to work with 2 players today and had some problems getting the controllers to work properly. The controllers worked for Gunstar Heroes so I don't know what was up with that.

If anyone has any suggestions for some other good multiplayer games that would be great. Wish they'd release RC Pro-Am 2. One of my favorite NES racing games.

Sonic 2's head to head is good fun. Especially the bonus stages, constant jumping to be in front!

Bomberman is also great, as is Mario Kart 64 (Why hasn't it been mentioned already!?), F-Zero X, Street Fighter II Turbo, the usual suspects etc. I'd like to also mention Chew Man Fu's Kickball, which is surprisingly very good!

Competitive and hectic, but a very light learning curve, so you can introduce practically anyone to it and have them put up a good challenge!

F-Zero X is a great, fun competitive game - it's not that hard to learn, and it gets a bit cutthroat at times. Ice Hockey is also a pretty fun 2-player game.

Lol i know what you mean. I love playing Sonic 2 Head to Head. Its the best multiplayer sonic since Sonic 3 had sucky 2 second levels. I love to play it online aswell (Through emulation). Other than that id have to say Bomberman games are fun multiplayer.

Yep, another vote for Bomberman from me. A bargain at 600 points indeed. Plus, it's really simple to pick up and play for people who aren't normally gamers.

Mario Kart 64 is another cracking choice. The one-player game is a little lacklustre but the unfashionable battle mode is excellent in this incarnation.
