| Iggy Koopa | No offense, but I feel like I just read a win quote from a Samurai Shodown game. Could somebody please translate. I feel like I could relate to it somehow.

| Do you like my helmet? | OK Mick, here's my best shot: I don't know why, but I can play Super Metroid for a long time! What's happening to me!? I know and see that it is a great game. Playing for short periods, not being able to keep coming back? That's something that I cannot understand. Do I need more exercise? |

Sorry for the sintaxis and grammar... The short version of the topic is that i can enjoy Super Metroid because the investigation is really tedious for my. And yes I need more exercise..and maybe and exorcism.

What you should buy depends on what you like. Do you like RPGs? Action games? Mario? Link? There are so many good games on the VC and a few decent ones on WiiWare that we really need to narrow it down to give you a mere 1000 points worth of recommendations. No.

Most people would say Super Star is the better title, and it's easy to see why considering it has a variety of different modes that change up the gameplay. You can have fun with friends, breeze through an easy Kirby campaign, etc. I personally really like Kirby 64 and how you can mix and match enemies for different abilities but money-wise, Super Star is more bang for you buck. Shining Force and Secret of Mana are quite different games. I haven't played enough of either game so I can't really help you, but I believe if you enjoyed games like Fire Emblem or even Final Fantasy Tactics, you would probably like Shining Force. If you would like a blend of Link to the Past and Final Fantasy, you'd probably like Secret of Mana.

| Just download both of them and skip the Kirby games. |

| Iggy Koopa | This. A thousand times this. You're getting way more for your money's worth with just one of these over Kirby, let alone both.

2. Kirby 64 3. Shining Force Super Metroid is just simply one of the best games ever made. Kirby 64 may be slower than Super Star but I always had a lot more fun mixing the powers up in 64. Shining Force is a fun strategy RPG and Secret of Mana is a good action RPG. I personally just prefer SRPGs and I could never really get into Mana's fighting mechanics. I would also recommend Super Castlevania IV over Rondo of Blood if you don't already have it.

| Super Castlevania IV is fantastic, so you can't really go wrong there...of course, you could always go with the better option and pick Rondo Of Blood. |

| No, but I still find it more fun. Also SC4 is easier so if he hasn't played a Castlevania game before I'd probably like to start with the easier one. Keep in mind that the game is still hard. |

| I will soon have have roughly 3500 points to play with (depending on whether Sonic 4 is good or not it may be 5000) and am not sure what to use them on. There's two titles (Cave Story/Super Meat Boy) I'd consider waiting for but their release date is an ever receding Kafka castle despite all of NoE's announcements of 'Coming Soon!'. Anyway, in the running so far: Toki Tori Dive LostWinds 2 Tales of Monkey Island (3/4/5) Secret of Mana --Gods Vs Humans-- Information on this one is scant so I'll reserve judgement until some more reviews come out. Any comments or suggestions? You can see what I already have on my BL page. |

I highly recommend Secret of Mana. In my opinion it's one of the best action RPGs on the VC, of not THE best action RPG period. The game play and plot gets more intriguing as you go alone. The combat in the game is real-time and not turn based, in case you are wondering The music is also fantastic. Even though I only played this in single player, I still loved every minute of this one. Toki Tori is another great WiiWare title. It can be tricky at times figuring out the layout of each level later during the game, but once you figure out the layout it is quite rewarding, especially as you progress. There is also a bit of variety on each of the 4 worlds, as it introduces new items to use as you go through the game. Haven't played any of the others, but by Dive I am assuming you mean The Medes Islands Secret, then that might be one to avoid, since I heard that there are bugs with the game, stopping you from getting 100%, which I read from this review. Unless getting all the treasures doesn't bother you that is. Quote:

| Thanks for the recommendations. I see lots of love for Rondo of Blood here too. I enjoy the Metroidvanias but am a little bit lukewarm on the old style ones. Does Rondo of Blood feature a main character that moves like a sack of potatoes and is baffled by staircases? I have III and IV and the lumpen movement really put me off. |

| I'd like to have another SRPG and want to try Shining Force. Which of the two should I go for? |

| | #946 |
| Iggy Koopa | It's always best to start with the first, Mate. Shining Force is no exception.

And after all, I got Shining Force for 500pts at the SEGA sales in December/January. Getting it now is a considerable waste of 300pts. I wouldn't get it for 800pts anyway. I'd rather get Shining Force II if you must - just for not wasting 300pts on the first one - but on the other hand of course it's better to start with the first one. Maybe you should wait for another SEGA sale to get a discount on it?! Who knows if they'll do it again in December/January?

| So I sold xbox Silent Hill 2 to Yasume for a 1000 Wii point trade and am wondering what I should ask for in return. I'm thinking Wiiware, considered Me, You and the Cubes partly because I love Kenji Eno's previous work but some people seem to be down on it (although most people hated D2 as well and I loved it). Any other suggestions. (Not Monsteca Corrall as I'm probably going to ask Tull for that one in exchange for my Wii game finders fee

Any of those three games (I see you already own Swords & Soldiers) are good picks. If you like 3D platforming, achievements and collecting then Jett Rocket is definitely a must. Bonsai Barber is a great relaxing game to play in short bursts, it unfortunately doesn't get the attention it deserves. You also seem to enjoyed playing through the 2 LostWinds games, so NyxQuest would be a good choice too.

| That's a silly complaint for SMB on VC seeing as how you can SUSPEND the game. |

| I what i mean is that if you game over you have to start all over again and suspending the game can't help with that. so u have to get through 8 worlds with 3 lifes plus anything you get on the way. or you have to start all over again. |

| If you hold A or B (I don't remember which one) at the start screen and then press start you will be at the first level of the last world you were in. |

| It's a and yeah i know that it's still really hard though lol. getting past 5-2 then failing at 5-3 so you have to do 5-1 and 5-2 again it's so (can't think of the word) opposite of rewarding. |
