If you guys got FFII/FFIV this week, I don't expect it to be another as big, or bigger.

With that said, either Street Fighter 2010, or PRO WRESTLING! XD

One of these: Earthbound, Star Fox, Super Mario World 2, Fire Emblem (import), or Duck Hunt (Wii Zapper Compatabilty)
If there was a poll I would probably vote for Duck Hunt =)
DUCK HUNT!

When's it coming, next week? Probably nothing earth-shattering with FFIV out this week. And it wouldn't be something out of left field. My guesses would be Mega Man 4, Iron Hide (or whatever that shmup is called), or Rondo of Blood.

Exactly. Are you saying it's the obvious choice?

It's called Ironclad.

As for the 350th it might well be Mega Man 4. Although that sounds too obvious. Ogre Battle 64 anybody?

Sadly Europe is a country mile behind North America with 329 titles (although one has been removed *Cough*Last Ninja 3!)

I definitely think that it won't be Rondo of Blood since Hudson always says the month a game will be released in and they have nothing listed for March.

My pick is Kirby Superstar, but my second choice is a game that will come out of nowhere like Mario Tennis for the N64

I doubt it's going to be a big deal. Maybe the 400th game will be something big though.

I think it's the most likely choice. Not 100% likely, but more likely than the other choices IMO.

I'd love a random Nintendo title like Star Fox but I kind of doubt it. Is Mega Man 4 scheduled for next week? If Nintendo decides to celebrate the whole 350 thing, maybe there's a chance they'll give us two titles so it wouldn't just be Mega Man 4? (I dunno, MM4 just doesn't seem like a big enough title to me).

If MM4 is scheduled for sure for next week, then it's a big enough game for 350. Folks who don't dig it can just assume they weren't treating 350 as a big milestone and hold out hope for 400.

I do think it's worth noting that they did treat #250 as a milestone, with the release of Super Mario RPG.

Personally, my hope is for a surprise release of Yoshi's Island, but I really doubt that'll happen.

I myself would probably rather play Mega Man 4 than Super Mario RPG, but at least the latter's a decent game.

This is likely just a coincidence, but I thought I'd point it out anyway. Last month, when Nintendo announced upcoming WiiWare games for March, take a look at the list:

Megaman 10 (WiiWare) – March 1
Max and the Magic Marker (WiiWare) – March 8
Cave Story (WiiWare) – March 22
WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase (WiiWare) – March 29

There is no game listed for the 15th. Why would they do this if it wasnt a big deal?

"1/4 of what?" You're taking for granted that they're using #1000 as some kind of arbitrary milestone-making point. Maybe they just like nice round numbers. 1/2 is also a nice fraction than 2/5! Maybe we won't get anything on #400! Actually, maybe they think 7/20 is a nicer fraction than 1/4 anyway. What makes a fraction "nice"?

Seeing as humans have worked in base 10 practically since the dawn of numbers (although I believe the first number systems were in base 56 or something like that), I'd assume a company run by humans, who use the decimal system, would use an exponential of 10 to base everything around.

Now for the other point: would you rather work with 1/4 or 7/20? Personally, I'd take the former.

350 is 1/2, which is a pretty nice easy fraction. Go 350 go!

Of 700, sure. 700 isn't an exponential of 10.

But it has two zeroes at the end. Everyone loves multiples of 100. And it's the hundredmultiple of lucky 7!

I think that 10^2.84509804 will give you 700.

I doubt every 50th game will be something GREAT or a JUBILEE OF THE MILESTONE, no.

At least it wasn't in EU.

The update with game #50 was on 16.02.2007
#50 Excitebike (NES)
#51 Kirby's Adventure (NES)
#52 New Adventure Island (TG)
#54 R-Type III: The Third Lightning (SNES)
Select your own #50 out of those four. Draw between Excitebike & Kirby?

The update with game #100 was on 15.06.2007
#100 F-Zero X (N64)
#101 J.J. & Jeff (TG)
I think this one's clear.

The update with game #150 was on 12.10.2007
#150 Probotector II: Return of the Evil Forces (NES)
#151 Super Metroid (SNES)
Since #150 wasn't released in Australia, and #151 is a triple-A firstparty Nintendo game, well pick your choice.

The update with game #200 was on 28.03.2008
#198 Cruis'n USA (N64)
#199 International Karate (C64)
#200 Uridium (C64)
Well, is it Cruisn' USA, because it's one rare N64 release?
Or International Karate and Uridium cos they started C64 support that day?

The update with game #250 was on 19.09.2008
#250 Boulder Dash (C64)
#251 Jumpman (C64)
#252 Sonic The Hedgehog (MS)
I dunno... the update before 05.09.2008 had DoReMi Fantasy and Ys Book I&II and the update after that week 03.10.2008 had Earthworm Jim and Shining Force II. 4 games that would have made a better #250. Boulder Dash is far from bad and a surprise #250, but it seems Nintendo just doesn't bother to select a proper #250.

For the record,
the update with game #300 was on 17.07.2009
#300 MUSHA (MD)
#301 Smash Table Tennis (NES)
A Hanabi week. yeah great, a Hanabi week. But not exactly supergood games. Especially the Table Tennis game from Nintendo/Konami.
