Default Breath of Fire error

So what happened there? Were NoE planning on giving us four games this week, only to take two away? Or is it an error, perhaps with some of next week's offerings getting accidentally leaked?

Theories? Speculation? Hard-hitting investigation?

It may be America's update for Monday!

If so, I'll be very envious, I want Breath of Fire =[

It would be unlikely if America's update appeared on Europe's page, even by mistake. They're separate companies after all, and I doubt there's much contact between them, especially at the website-building level! And the text is very different to how NoA write their VC updates; I don't think it came from NoA.

My guess is that Europe is getting BoF next week, or very soon, and this was an error, posting the information early.

Does the Firefox browser trick still work? Can anyone find BoF on the European VC site?

Yeah, would be likely, the same goes for Lunar Pool too. Saying that, EU went for a while with Kirby's Dream Course and US with Street Fighter 2 Turbo, they may be continuing that pattern with SNES games, and us keeping Kirby's Ghost Trap for a while when they get Breath of Fire II.

There's a much better way to find stuff on the server than Firefox. Each game picture in the Wii Shop is hosted on the internet and has it's own URL, and you can edit them slightly to find more. I already know where the Japanese pictures for BoF2 are (Only opens in IE): http://ccs.shop.wii.com/ccs/download...24B4A/FFFD0001 (Modify the final digit to get the other pictures)

European pictures will appear at http://ccs.shop.wii.com/ccs/download...24B50/FFFD0001. They're not there yet, so no, it's not on the server.

It makes me wonder how far in advance the releases are decided. I think it's pretty clear from this that Europe is getting BoFII at some point soon, but were we supposed to get it today? And did they decide not to release it for some reason? Perhaps to give it to the US instead, as you say?

It's fun to speculate!

In any case, Breath of Fire II is a brilliant game. I want it. I had it for GBA but I sold it for some ungodly reason...Looking back on it, that's one of the best games I ever just upped and sold. But I used to have a buttload of really cool N64 games that also were sold, Bomberman Hero being one of the better ones.
