you mean R-Type + R-Type II for PC-Engine = R-Type for Turbografx.
in the end there is no real R-Type 2?

In Japan, the PC Engine initially used tiny little cards for games to be stored on. Apparantly they had trouble fitting R-Type onto one, so they sold the game in two halves. Which the cheeky monkeys are getting away with doing again on the Virtual Console!

The Turbografx-16 as I understand it used cartridges, so that was able to have the full game on one cart. I think that's all right, correct me if I'm wrong PC Engine wizkids!

No it used the same storage device called the Hucard or TurboChip in America (although that’s just officially must people tend to referee to them as Hucards) they just found a way to store more data on them I think the largest Hucard was for street fighter 2 at 20Mb bigger than the western r-type Hucard.

But no-one seems to notice, as when I edit something,

Those "A~RU" you see, are just the way to write the pronounciation of "R" in English. And about the "O" in Tanto, the announcer doesn't even pronounce it (he does pronounce the "R" in a similar way, though).

The symbol after the "N" means "TO", but it's what Japanese use wether they mean "TO" or just "T", cause there's no "T" symbol.

But either way, it already has an official spelling (even one of the levels in the Japanese version has "ICHIDANT-R" written in the background) so it's absurd to keep arguing over it.
