In regards to whether or not the C64 Turrican games could appear on the VC, does anyone here know who currently owns the rights to them?
According to what I've read (and correct me if any of this is wrong), Factor 5 only worked on the Amiga ports (and of course, the later SNES & Genesis/Mega Drive games that are already appearing). The first two C64 Turricans were originally published by Rainbow Arts, which was absorbed into THQ in the late 90's. I don't believe THQ is a VC contributor. Or does Manfred Trenz actually own the rights, himself? |

Neither Super Turrican or Mega Turrican were published by Factor 5 back in the day, either... But anyway, I'd really prefer the Amiga versions to be released instead.
I wouldn't buy the C64 versions because they're just not as good, and have zero nostalgic value for me.

So, if the rights to these titles reverted to the developer, then does that mean that Manfred Trenz currently owns the rights to the C64 Turrican games? |
