Last night I downloaded Starfox 64, only to find that the Virtual Console doesn't seem to like my Hip Gear Controller. For a few minutes it would not work at all, no button would register, until somehow i figured out that the controller works when the turbo button is held down. So by taping that button down I managed to render the controller usable which would have been fine if it weren't for the glitchyness of it. Movement of the Arwing in Starfox was incredibly difficult as it would shake frenetically and holding down A did not do a charge shot, just a rapid fire.
Has anyone else had something like this happen to them? |

I haven't had any problems with my Gamestop controller, although I just tend to use the CC controller now for VC games.

I've not been able to find 'Cube pads here in Britain, so I'm having a couple shipped in from the US in a couple of weeks. Cheaper too.
