There should be trials for every game
There are so many VC games I want to play but I'm not made of money. I think the prices are ludicrous. nes should be 100 and n64 should be 400. now thats probably never going to happen but i think what is possible is the option of free trial for every game for lets say 10 points. that way we can not only test out these titles before we buy but also so we can at least play the majority of the collection without being broke.

100 for NES games? 400 for N64? If anything, most old games are worth more money for gameplay than anything to come out in the last 8 years. If your resourceful, there's plenty of ways you can test games out before you buy them on the VC (I won't go into detail, but there are ROMs available...somewhere). I've saved a lot of money that way.

The existence of "Masterpieces" demos on Super Smash Bros. Brawl combined with the ability to download DS demos from the Nintendo Channel makes one hopeful for the eventual Nintendo Channel release of a kind of VC demo service.

Agreed. Nintendo needs to make a channel similar to how they had Masterpieces in Brawl. While the demos weren't as long as I'd like for some games (30 seconds for Donkey Kong!?) it is still very helpful for seeing if the game fits your play style or not. (not to mention the feeling of being completely legal while doing it....yes, I'm looking at YOU)
