Default Team Fortress 2 Free Weekend

Valve has recently stated that from May 2nd to May 4th, their hit class based online multiplayer game, Team Fortress 2, will be fully available for free. The link below explains the newest additions to TF2 as well as how to partake in the weekend festivities. Note: You must download Steam, Valve's game distribution service, to play Team Fortress 2. It is free.

Even though I have the OB for the 360 I'd love to play TF2 on my Laptop, so I'm downloaded it just there.

Thanks for the heads up about it, Spore.

I'm pre-loading TF2 now, but it's taking so long that I think I'll stop it now and leave it on during the day tomorrow...

Does the 360 have the new patch with the map Goldrush and the new medic achievements and weapons yet? Haven't checked.

Edit: Added minimum requirements to the bottom of the first post. Also added a link to check if your computer stacks up to the task of TF2.

The 360 version doesn't have a single new map yet. No Medic achievements/weapons either. It's only been bugfixes so far (But there's still some bugs that have been in since release).

There's another achievement pack coming this week (Pyro), so there's another Free Weekend. No excuses this time, try it!

Quote:
Valve today announced a set of new releases for Team Fortress 2, the title named Multiplayer Game of the Year by PC Gamer and Gamespy.com.

The main event of the week is the Pyro Update, which will be made available this Thursday and contains three unlockable new weapons for the Pyro plus 35 new achievements. In addition, two user-created maps are included to highlight the great work being done in the community and distribute those works to all TF2 players..

Meanwhile as folks wait for the Pyro Update to be released, the latest in the "Meet the Team" video shorts, "Meet the Sniper," will be made available tomorrow (Tuesday, June 17) at 11 am PDT along with a web site dedicated to the Pyro update.

Finally, to give everyone a chance to try the new weapons and community maps, Valve will hold another Team Fortress 2 Free Weekend via Steam beginning this Friday at 11 am PDT.

Can anyone tell me how to start the game off of Steam?

Edit: Nevermind, I found my problem.
