This is the VC-fourms second league hosted by me. The rules here are almost exactly the same, except I've added a few things.

BASIC RULES
The league will be around four to six weeks. Once I add all of the people who register for the league, I will then post a list of who will be fighting who for the next two weeks, I will also PM everyone to remind them about their matches. Everybody brawls twice a week, in a 1 vs. 1, 4 stock battle. For each match you will play 3 out of 5 matches. Whoever wins 3 out of 5 matches, will win that match, earning one point. As for items, there will be no assist trophies, pokeballs, or golden hammers. The item rarity will be set to "medium". This is not a elimination league. Once all matches have been played, I will tally up the scores, and the people with the most wins will battle each other to see who is the winner of this league. THERE ARE NO PRIZES TO BE WON!! Also in this league, you can only missed 3 matches before you get kicked out of the league. If you know that you wont be able to make a match, you must contact me, and the person you are supposed to brawl, and tell us that you wont be able to make it, and make sure you tell us one hour before your match. There are exceptions though, if you PM me after explaining why you couldn't tell us why you couldn't make it, I will consider if you lost that match, or if you must bawl that person again. Another new rule is the selection of your characters. This time you can pick two characters to use through the whole league. But you must stick with those character through the whole league, if you select any different characters during the league, you will be kicked out. And after every match, one person must tell me the results of the match ASAP. I only need to know who won, and who lost. But it'd be nice if you would put if you won 3-2 or something because Jogurt the Yogurt might still want to know those results.

SELECTING BATTLES
Everybody fights two matches a week. I will tell you who you are fighting, but you select when you will brawl. To do this you just contact the person you are brawling, then work out a time and a date to brawl, then you tell me when your brawling. And remember to include what time zone you are in. But remember, you have one week to finish two brawls, so you must give me a time with in the the week you are brawling. Each week starts on a Sunday, and you have one week to finish the two brawls I give you.

SELECTING STAGES
Once again I will select the stages for you. And because Brawl has lots of lag, We will only be using 12 of brawls stages. So how this works is on the main post, each week I will update what stages will be battled on. I will use two stages each week, and you guys will have to use those stages. When your about to brawl, you and the person your brawling don't have to pick the same stage, as long as you both select one of the two stages I say to brawl on. If someone picks a stage I didn't select, they will get a warning, and if it happens again, they will be kicked out. But you might accidentally pick the wrong stage, if that happens, just tell me and I'll work everything out.

So those are all the rules, although it's long, the rules are very simple.

Cool, the second go of the League. I'll be sending all my info via PM. I was actually waiting for a chance to change my character to be someone different from Diddy.

my only question is, if we're picking two characters we can use, can we switch them in the middle of our match? Say we started with Zelda in the first game. Then the second game we just came in and started using Toon Link. All in the same match. (Those of course being the two characters the person picked.) Or do the people have to use one of the characters they picked each match for the whole match.

You can change your character any time you want as long as it's the two you selected, and that you don't drop out of a match just to change your character.

Ahh, I guess im in for the second season... hope I'll be able to score a "W" this time...
my FC hasnt changed...
I'll be using better characters this time and the 2 character option really helps, some days I dont do so good with somebody then the next day I do good and suck with someone else...

I think I'll use Link and Pit for this round... (I might want to change my character selections before the league officially starts)

I'll be able to brawl pretty much any day of the week since school's out now. I do plan to be out of town in the middle of july on vacation across the pacific northwest(oregon washington and British columbia, canada), and will be camping in 2 weeks...

Alrighty. Just wanted to make sure I knew so I didn't break a rule or saw someone else switch a character and thought they were.

yeah the best part of the trip this year will be whistler ski resort (location of 2012 olympics) and visiting Astoria, Oregon where the goonies movie was made. I even have the address of all the locations.

What happens if you go away for a week on vacation, do you lose both matches or is there going to be a make-up week like the last league?

depending on what happens, I suspect there will be a make-up week if needed. But if you do go away for a week you would have to tell me first, or else I would think your just ditching your matches. So then I would tell the people who you were supposed to brawl, that you would not be able to brawl them, and we'd make-up a different time for you to brawl.
