Is Super Paper mario really worth 49.99 + tax?
Because that's how much it is everywhere I look and dammit, it's been out for ages!
Even NiGHTS is only 29.99 now! What gives? Is it worth spending that much on or is it a weekend rental/bargain bin purchase?

It's not worth full price. You should be able to find it used somewhere. I got a near mint copy in the classifieds for $15.

I bought it for that much. I no longer have it though (I didn't sell it) But I thought it was a great game. I spent soo much time trying to complete the massive amount of side quests. It had a very good story, with very very easy combat. It's lots fun fun, but I wouldn't buy it again, maybe if it was for @0 bucks, but no way I'd buy it again for 50.

It was worth it for me. I have all the Paper Mario's except RPG ( get off your ass nintendo ). While this one wasent the same as the others really i still love it. Its one of the more interesting and original ideas for a game out there.
My only real problem with it is there is way to much text but to be fair its usually very well writen and funny too. $50 is well worth it IMHO. But i guess it not for eveyone.

Super Paper Mario is NOT worth $50. I got mine around the time it came out for less than that thank's to Gamefly's ability to keep games that you rent (but they banned my account after THEY lost some games in the mail multiple times). Anyways, no, the other Paper Mario's are far superior to the Wii edition in my opinion but (pointing above) obviously some people feel that this one is just fine.

Super Paper Mario's a good game that's let down by a few terrible levels (One of the later ones I found utterly agonizing to plough through) and too much dialogue. It has its moments though.

Didn't like it much at all. I enjoyed the 2D platforming but the 3D-flip feature (which is the meat of the game) has to be used to solve far too many puzzles and there is some awful levels (the space ones specifically).

It was fun, but not $50's worth. I'd say $30-40 is fair, but if you can spend less, go for it.
