hey everyone,
gosh i haven't played this game for years, and it was great to be able to play it again! although i am stuck on tiny thing. right at the end when you have killed the big bowser boss, it takes you through the credits, etc, etc. Then it displays a screen showing 'THE END'. There does not seem to be a way to close this screen. I am not sure whether there is a fault with the game which means that you cannot exit the screen and so the game does not save. Or the game has actually saved, and it is on purpose the only way to get rid of this screen is to completely reset the game. Has anyone else had this issue or help me? Thanks - ben |

Super Mario World has save slots. As such, even if you hit Reset, the saves will remain. Just reset and continue with your game.

It happens with a lot of old Nintendo games, you have to reset I'm afraid. It'll still save it for you though, so the game will count the final level as an exit cleared
