Default Super Mario Bros 3 NES....Worth it?

I own it on all stars and on the GBA. Should I get the NES version?

Not much point if you have it on All-Stars, unless you're an old-school purist and want the old graphics.

There are some gameplay differences between the Allstars and NES-Versions, and if you have the US or JAP-Version of Super Mario Advance 4, try to get the e-cards for bonus levels.

Really? Like what? (I've not spent a lot of time with the NES version, so excuse me if they're obvious). Obviously the All-Stars version has a save game feature as well, but otherwise I thought the differences were purely cosmetic?

Nothing major, one Toadhouse has been switched with another (World 6, there is no need anymore to beat 6-5 to get a hammer bros suit, it's in the freely accessible toad house).

Also some 'bug' fixes in the bowsers castle (you can't get stuck anymore in the room before Bowser)

Its worth a download. I have Super Mario Advance 4 too but i prefer the NES version as it feels like the "proper" version.

I d say the NES version is more challenging, since if you lose all your lives, its bad to the start... o.o
