Default Strongbad.

The game is getting me interested in, well, Strongbad. Anyone know where I can find them all?

Like a site that has the lot and that hosts them?

Because in googling Strongbad, about 20 sites came up each having 1 ep.

I stupidly assumed that there'd just be a site called strongbad.com or something.

www.homestarrunner.com. You need to get up to date on your Strongbad lore. Click SB Emails along the bottom for well over 100 episodes of greatness. Be sure to check out their other cartoons too.

Cheers, I'll start tomorrow (On someone elses laptop and Strongbad sounds like Alvin and the chipmunks. Stupid poor ass speakers).

www.hrwiki.org

That site is the Wikipedia of the Homestar Runner universe. It has detailed transcripts of all Homestar Runner cartoons and is extremely knowledgable in all H*R related things. It has explanations of obscure jokes as well as running gags and Easter Eggs. It's a great site.

Also, Strong Bad emails are pretty much exclusive to Homestar Runner.com. You aren't gonna find them anywhere else, though HRWIKI will link you to them.

Start at the bottom and work your way up to watch them in order. Hours of entertainment!

I don't think the SB Emails *have* to be watched in order as there are very few that actually follow up from one another (and for the record, the Japanese Cartoon email was my induction to all things Strong Bad and all). But they all pack a mean punch once you start getting into the inside jokes and everything. And as stated, HRWiki is also a great resource to understand how some of the punchlines work out.

Now that we're looking at the Strong Bad title here, did anyone take part in TellTale Games's H*R Mii contest? It's a great way to try and swag a free copy of the first episode

I don't think Strong Bad Emails hacve to be watched in any particular order, though some of them should be, such as the 'DNA Evidence Saga'.

H*R History Lesson 01

Strong Bad originally started as the antagonist to Homestar Runner, however, as his emails got more popular, he has become the most watched feature of Homestar Runner. The cartoon is based on the children's book written by Mike Chapman and Craig Zobel, where Homestar is the protagonist and Strong Bad is the antagonist. You could read the book or you could watch the remake!

Or you could get Strong Bad's opinion on how the book happened.

The first animated Homestar Runner cartoon was made using a copy of Mario Paint! How's that for gaming roots? Pretty amazing cartoon, given the technology.

Some do contain references previous e-mails so if you're watching them all they may as well be in order.

Yeah, but like I said, there are some that don't particularly link and could still be understood stand-alone. As stated, I got my HR introduction through the Japanese Cartoon email; started getting more involved by the Labor Day mail and started looking at random ones before finally discovering HRWiki and how some of the jokes link together.

Whichever happens, we can all agree that the stuff that Homestar and Strong Bad put together are great toons and should have been made great viewing on a Saturday morning than most lazy stuff these days
