It's not as good as all the pre-release hype and Strong Bad fanboys made it seem like it would be.

I got it last night. I've had 1000 points gathering dust on my wii since early June and I'm tired of waiting for Samurai Shodown II to be released so I downloaded Strong Bad.

I'm a fan of the Homestar Runner website but I hate point & clicks. Hopefully it'll play out okay but if not then I'll know not to buy anymore episodes. I am very angry to hear that the game freezes unless you set the wii to 4:3 instead of widescreen.

I hope to play it tonight and I'll post my opinion about the game on Friday.

I never really watched any of the flash animations, and downloaded it upon seeing it. 7/10 is good enough for me. As someone who has no prior knowledge of any of the characters, I was impressed. Unfortunately, that means I'll be paying for the other episodes too....

I finished it and would agree on 7/10, though I still need to unlock all the extras. Really good fun but I hope the next episodes are more challenging, this was a cakewalk for me (Albeit a hilarious cakewalk!)

7/10 is a good score. If you were going to get it before, a 7/10 shouldn't change your mind, really. However, I'd caution anyone who [1] isn't familiar with Homestarrunner.com, or [2] doesn't like point and clicks. The first one you can easily enough solve (just go to the website and see if the humor tickles your fancy), but if p+c isn't your genre, this probably won't be the game to change your mind.

I've just now checked out two of their toons and they were quite funny, Haven't really played any point'n'click games since Little Big Adventure 2 when I was very little, barely remember a thing about it. So the next time I get a 2000-point card I will buy Pop, Defend your castle and probably this. (I got 200 points at this moment)

I lost interest in homestarrunner.com two or so years ago. Now it's been going on for too long, seems less funny and generally got too popular for its own good. But I was a fan before then so I'll at least get the first episode soon, it's worth trying.

Did you know that you can play games specially for the Wii on the homestar website if you go via the Internet channel? They're very, very old school but some are quite funny.
