Default Starfox 64 Issue

Has anyone downloaded Starfox 64 off the VC and played through it? Everything is fine except to the best of my knowledge it is impossible to skip the cut scenes! This is incredibly frustrating for me... probably because I know all the lines by heart and I don't care to listen to them again and again. Hah, either way, my question is has anyone discovered a way to skip these scenes? I'm using the classic controller I might add, just to clarify.

There is no way to skip scenes like the end credits but you can skip things like the opening of the first level and the Star Wolf intros by pressing a button. So in other words you can only skip some of them.

That's incredibly frustrating! I remember in the good ol' days when I could skip the whole debriefing with the general and all of the opening scenes! I also find it annoying that you have to hit the tiny ZR button on the classic controller when the great fox sends you supplies. Couldn't they have integrated something a little better with the right control stick? Step it up Nintendo! Goddd.

You can definitely skip all of the general's debriefings.

How? I've tried every button multiple times? Is this a flaw with my controller or downloaded game file? Which button do you use to skip the debriefings, if you are using the classic controller?

I just tried it and you need to press the start/plus button.

I just realized that the first time you play through any level in the game none of the cut scenes can be skipped. I just finished playing through for a second time and all the levels I had previously played can be skipped. Thanks for your help!

You don't press the ZR button to get things set to you, you push the c-stick, in the right direction.
