Default Should I feel bad that I can't play Ocarina of Time anymore?

Hey there everyone, how are you doing?

Just wanted to make this thread because I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced something like what I'm right now: I got Zelda: OoT the day it came out in my country, and I played the *poop out of it, so to speak. Really loved the gameplay, graphics, story, completed 100%, you name it, I did pretty much everything.

Now, about 6 months ago, when I first got my Wii, I downloaded OoT on the VC, made my profile, and then never touched the game again, basically because I had no time to play between work, college, social life and other games. Then, a few days ago, I got Zelda: Wind Waker, which I just started playing, and I am really enjoying it. But then I thought that before I play it, I'd try to at least get the master sword in OoT, or maybe finish it again, just to remember all those great moments.

All was fine when I started playing up until I got the Letter from Zelda... then... I don't know, I just didn't feel like playing anymore, I just wasn't having any fun. I know the game is great, but I realized I actually didn't want to play it no more.

Maybe it was because I finished Twilight Princess and just started Wind Waker, but I don't know, I can't play OoT and I feel bad because of that. Lol, don't worry, it's not anything like "Oh no, my life is over", but I really feel guilty about having that great game sitting around in my Wii without it being played.

Has anyone else felt like this about OoT, or any other great game for that matter?

Maybe Ocarina of Time just sucks now. Don't ask me—I never played it back when it first came out, because I had already outgrown video games at that time.

You outgrew videogames then grew back into them to a point where you debate whether to buy every recent iteration of Pokemon on a gaming forum?

Yes.

Let's trace the gaming development of the young male Yogurt:

1. Young child, loves toys, playing, fun, games. Enjoys video games a great deal. Plays them all the time. Gets a launch NES.

2. Games non-stop through high school, which is traditionally a stressful time for Yogurt youth.

3. The Yogurt is introduced into the real world and the responsibilities of going to university, holding a job, and maintaining a vehicle. High school social stressors no longer exist in this paradise of not-quite-adulthood. Gaming tapers to a minimum around the launch of the N64, though the Yogurt keeps a well-trained eye on the very best classics for the dominant systems (PSX, PS2).

4. Many years of university pass. The Yogurt now faces extreme stress as he furthers his studies and must face the prospect of entering the real real world, starting a family, getting a career underway, finding a good burrow, and keeping up hobbies. The Yogurt turns back to his traditional mainstay of gaming to help relieve these stresses. Some Yogurts become so stressed that even pokeymanz become a plausible conduit for relief.

I would feel bad if I couldn't play any of my Zelda games anymore, and even worse because OoT is a fan-favorite.

Funny I have a job that I go to 4 days a week, and I still have time to play video games, maybe I'll grow out of them some day, but not any time soon, even if I do grow out of them I won't get rid of my 8 consoles I have lying in my room.

Someone apparently didn't understand the message of the Yogurt Legend.
