Shinobi III or Super Metroid

Both will probably make it to the Americas this month. My question is, if what I just said turns out true, which one should I get? I only have 900 Wii Points left.

super metroid is one of the best games ever, in mostly every hardcore gamer's top 10 probably...so yea, I say super metroid

Technically Super Metroid is the far better game. It is a true triple AAA. However on vc-reviews we rated Shinobi III a 5 star rating as it is also an excellent game.

My advice would be to get both, they are sufficiently different to justify this. So if Shinobi III arrives before Super Metroid I would get it and then get your Metroid fix next time you get some more cash.

Shinobi may not hit the states this month though so you may be worrying about nothing!

Been playing through Super Metroid on my SNES again the past few days, still as incredibly awesome as it always was. This shouldn't even be a question, get Super Metroid.

You're getting Shining in the Darkness today, so either you'll get Shinobi III with Super Metroid or you'll get it after (Or not at all? We in EU have it but now you got another game we don't have yet, which is similar to what happened with Vectorman).

Well, I've never been a huge fan of the Metroid games, so I'd go for Shinobi III, but SM is generally considered to be the better game of the two. I just don't like it much myself.

Super Metroid hands down. No disrespect to Shinobi III but Super Metroid is in a league all its own and since it hasn't been available since its original release on the SNES it's a definite must have.

Get super metroid, get shinobi when you can down the line but get super metroid now. You'll get more playing time out of super metroid. Theirs nothing like the first run through it, I still remember mine, I screwed up (or so I thought) and started over only to realize what I did wrong and that I didn't have to re-start to begin with.
