I like Ecco series very much and I think this one of the best texts (with spoilers) available on internet of one of the most interesting games of the 16 bit´s era:

Great game, it was really ahead of its time and even now there aren't many games that do what EtD does. Some people criticise the gameplay, but it's one of those games that has to be appreciated as more of a work of art instead of seeing it as pure entertainment.
