Default RETRO system/games owners thread

Hey Retro gamers!
I would like to know whom is out there that collects old systems and games? Please make yourself known
I just picked up a original NES with ROB and gyromite and light gun (the grey one) This is the exactly same one I got for christmas in 1984 (or 85? gotta ask my mom) I will be posting pixs later today...
I will be locating games and a SNES in the upcoming weeks. I found out theres a retro store about 30 or 40 minutes away... gotta plan on doing that...

Fair bit. I got a Saturn months ago, mainly to play Nights and Magic Knight Rayearth, but now I may go and build a Saturn libary. I sometimes buy N64 games that ll never reach the VC (Liecenced games, Rare, etc.) anytime soon, if not never.

I m intending to buy Pokemon Edition GBs/DSs at some point (When earn more money. lol.)

I don't consider myself a collector. I just have some old systems from when I was a kid. They don't get actively played or worshipped or anything.

Here's my full roster. There were all bought during their respective generations.

Nintendo Entertainment System (x 2)
Super Nintendo Entertainment System (x 2)
Game Boy
Game Boy Advance
Wii

Sega Master System
Sega Genesis
Sega 32X
Sega CD

TurboGrafx-16
Panasonic 3DO Interactive Multiplayer

PlayStation (x 2)
PlayStation2

I would like to collect games but money is keeping me from doing it. I do own an old Game & Watch though which are worth a bit.

Wow I'm pretty impressed! If I had kept all my old systems I'd have all that except SMS, TG16 and 3DO (had friends who had them) I am collecting them for old times sake! and to be able to play games such as Chrono Trigger

My current library includes
NES Delxue system (ROB and grey light gun, Gyromite and duck hunt)
Sega Genesis (in need of some repair)
N64
Wii (of course!)

will be seeking a SNES, 32X (loved virtua racing delxue) and my friend can sell me back my old saturn (he still got it!!)

EDIT: I just got the saturn yesterday with 15 games (including virtua cop with light gun) WHOOOOO!!!
plan to get a TG16 from that same friend (he just had 2 babies) later this week even tho I dont like the TG16 (pce)
then will be starting the hunt for a super NES!

I started collecting retro games/systems in general a few years ago (I didn't own many games before so most of it is 2nd hand), and now I've decided to mostly focus on Sega consoles, because I can never own everything. I have a Master System, Mega Drive + Mega CD (original versions), Saturn, Dreamcast (just missing 32X and Game Gear). And non-Sega I have SNES, N64, Game Boy, PS1, PS2, Xbox and Gamecube.

Some games cost next-to nothing these days, so I go out from time to time to see what I can find in shops and if I'm lucky end up coming home with 10 cheap games and paying only £20 or so. They might not be games I thought of getting but the chances are 1 or 2 will be worth-while, and even if they're bad games they're still welcome in my collection for historical value. And so your collection can grow easily like that. The main limitation, and what prevents me from having a huge collection, is space to store it all. Unfortunatly there are less places to buy cheap retro games these days. Of course more rare/desirable games cost a lot more, and I do buy the occasional expensive game if it's one I really want.

I still need to buy a Game Gear and 32X, and some more import stuff which I'm lacking in at the moment. These days I think I'm more into collecting games than actually playing them.

SNES (am about to start building up that collection), N64 (35+ games), Gamecube (40+ games), Wii, GBA, DS (Original) and original breadbox Commodore 64 with disk drive AWWW yeah the C64 and Snes are going to be my main focuses, with a NES plus games and GB/GBC + games following shortly after.

A friend of mine had the R.O.B.—we got a kick out of Gyromite. I wonder if they could make a VC version work.

For the record, I think at least half of those systems don't work (either that's why they were originally shelved, or else the years collecting dust in the closet haven't been good to them).
