These suckers do get pretty dang insane. It's definitely gonna be a few weeks of work at these for me. This leaves me time to stock up for Festivania!

How so? You get more games, and you can save in the middle of any game. I've actually thought about trading in my GC version for the PS2 one as well, as I don't have the time or attention span to beat an entire sonic game in one sitting.

Longer loading times, weird borders, and Sucky extras. All of the new games were included in Sonic Adventure DX, and you could save in the middle of any game in the Gamecube version as well.

How do you do that? The copy I have doesn't have an instruction booklet, so I never figured that out.

Doesn't that just open a menu, that allows you to exit. I thought Sonic 3 was the only one that saves.

Ho ho, Sonic Jam allows me to save AND play any level any time (As long as I complete it first).

Though there are sound faults though. -_-

I thought you could save as well. Or was that the Gems Collection? Ugh, it's been so long since I played the GCN version, I can't keep things straight anymore!

That's right, it's only Sonic 3 that saves (which is really retarded, as the game has it's OWN save, and all the other ones don't have that feature.). I don't care if the PS2 version takes 3 hours to load. I never have the time to play through an entire game of Sonic in one sitting. I'll deal with the borders and crappy extras, though I kinda liked the ones in the GC version.

You could use the level select cheat. That always comes in handy.

^ how is it Jogurt? I just ordered Mario Sunshine from Amazon. I ordered Mario Galaxy, but received an email saying the seller ran out and had to send my money back, very sad. I purchased it for less than $40.

Considering I only paid $4.49 for it (at EB of all places!), I'd say it's worth taking the plunge at that price. I haven't had a chance to check it out yet, though, as I also got Retro Game Challenge today and I've been playing that.

Just two Gamecube games that I own at the moment, but good ones:

Luigi's Mansion
Sonic Mega Collection

Luigi's mansion was a lot of fun, especially the final boss, it was fun to save Mario's ass!

Sonic Mega Collection is great value but it's not very comfy with the Gamecube controller, so in a way I probably should've just bought Sonic 1 and 2 on the VC instead.

It's a really fun game, maybe more so for someone who doesn't care about the roster (like me). Picked it up second hand for a few quid about a year ago and still play it from time to time. The Player creation aspect keeps it fresh too.
