| [EDIT: I added another game that I can't seem to find the title to.] There were three arcade games that I used to play back when I was 8 years old in 1989. I used to play them together with my sister when we were living in South Korea. Just my luck, my friend was able to identify one of the games being Momoko 120%. Unfortunately, after all these years, I still cannot figure out the titles of these two games. ARCADE GAME #1: With the first arcade game, the only thing I was able to recall from it is that you can play as a blue-haired boy or a pink-haired girl. Both were wearing white and the girl wields a parasol, they remind me of Kiki and Lala from the Little Twin Stars. They were falling down in a cavernous area which I would assume is the first stage. I think it could be an Action game or an Action Adventure title. ARCADE GAME #2: It's an Action or Beat 'Em Up game starring a blue-haired man from a futuristic world. I believe he was an intergalactic officer due to him wearing an uniform similar to a policeman's. The stages are done platformer-style. Also if he collected enough power-ups, he will transform into a Sentai hero much like the Power Rangers. Then I remember one of the bosses was a sexy, short-haired blonde woman wearing a skimpy outfit. And if you hit her enough times, she turns into her true form which is a humanoid rabbit thing. It had anime cutscenes as well. ARCADE GAME #3: This was a Fighting game featuring Jiang Shi's and the characters are sorta super deformed in style. You play as an Exorcist and you basically kick their butts. There are health bars above them. I remember most was the sole female Jiang Shi in the game and she's either completely yellow or pink in color. What I do know is that it looks very similar to Reikai Doushi [1988], except the graphics looks very CGA-EGA'ish. If it helps any, there were other arcade machines with Bubble Bobble [1986], Double Dragon [1987], Gladiator [1986], JuJu Densetsu [1989], Kageki [1988], Momoko 120% [1986], and Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair [1988]. If that could limit the era these games were made, I'm assuming it had to be made around the the late 80's. Hopefully this game won't be that hard to find due to it being an Asian game. ![]() I thank anyone in advance who can help me out! Last edited by enigmaopoeia; 30th December 2009 at 03:14 AM. |

| Nope, that's not it. As much as how the title makes me want to believe it is that game. I also went looking through the Killer List of Video Games and still couldn't find anything that resembled the arcade games I was looking for. I don't know if they were from another system and they used an arcade cabinet for it. EDIT: I also added another game that I can't seem to find anywhere as well listed above. I hate this because these games has been bugging me for years now! Last edited by enigmaopoeia; 30th December 2009 at 02:04 AM. |
