| And here comes that lot of games I nabbed. PAL first, all boxed +Turok: Dinosaur Hunter +Aerofighters Assault And now Japanese games, also all boxed +1080 Snowboarding +Wild Choppers +Bomberman 64 (Not the Japanese exclusive one, the one we all got) +Wave Race 64 +J League Perfect Striker (Think that's the title) So these and 2 Super Famicom games for £50, not bad. |

| +Human Grand Prix (Japanese) Disappointed to see this was another F1 game, not just humans running around a race track, lol. XD |

They made Super Soccer, The Firemen, the Clock Tower-, Fire Pro Wrestling- and F1 Pole Position-series. Anyway, you should have watched some video footage, instead of buying something just for the title. At least you still have the human... inside the race cars.

| Do you like my helmet? | + Aidyn Chronicles: The First Mage God, I took this for a "tester" spin and am reminded of just what a terribly designed and terribly executed this game is. The drastic effect genre-starvation will have on a myopic audience becomes very clear when you see N64-only people praising this as a great RPG. It may be great when considered relative only to N64's other RPGs... |

| If you say so, everyone calls Superman 64 the worst N64 game, but Carmageddon 64 is much worse. ;P |

Well if your implications are true with Carmageddon 64 being worst than Superman 64 then at least We won't have anything to fear with N64 gamers running over grannies prostitute or any innocent bystanders over. b.t.w I had come into possession of Carmageddon when I was handed over a whole bunch of PC games but a few seconds in the microwave fixed it up good & propper as it now looks like an aged mirror.

| Monty Mole | I've spent a lot of time on Carmageddon 64, was fun to play. And there are no humans in it to be run over, only zombies.

Anyway, isn't it odd that America got the Green Blood version of Carmageddon 64 and Europe got the Red Blood version? Imo this looks slightly better than Superman 64. Both are pretty bottom of the barrel though.

The developers were just trying to look for a zombie replacement. Something that was as "cool and dangerous as a zombie", but they thought "it mustn't be humanoid since that would get the game banned in Germany" and so they ended up with dinosaurs. Elephants, sharks, lions, alligators would be too controversial at the time ("First humans, now animal harming in video games?") and the Probotectors were already owned by Konami. They had to get the German version done in time and it needed some splatter because splatter and gore was priority as the whole game was based around roadkill. Dinosaur guts on the road was like the only thing left. "Dinosaur roadkill must be a loophole in the German laws" and they went on with it. The game got banned here anyway. The simple reason was: it has "Carmageddon" in its title and that is advertisement for the banned PC versions.

| Well done Slurm. I still need to beat this one as part of September's Gaming Club thread. Do feel free to discuss it there.
