Not such a spectacular haul this time...in fact a couple of those are craptacular...but at £1 you're still laughing so I won't knock your bargain buys!

Any explanation from your Gamestation yet about where their supply is coming from and why they are bothering with this exercise?

Havn't they read the best game ever poll where its been clearly stated that there are only "a few N64 games worth getting". I'm fairly sure whoever said that was an authority on the issue.

Yeah, I pretty much took the best games the day before, and whatever was left the next day (Funny enough, the day I was paid. XD). Still, I'll be back there tomorrow for work, so who knows? X3

I didnt ask, but they didnt think they would sell even at Ł1 each. I mean christ, Mario Party 2 (The copy I sold on ebay), Majora's Mask and Banjo Tooie would be worth Ł34 alone the idiots. I did see them take out some dusty Gamecubes out of their storage cupboard where their ladders, cleaning stuff and extra shelves were, so they must of had those retro games for awhile I guess.

Gex, both Chameleon Twists and the first Extreme-G are pretty enjoyable, though.

I looked in the Gamestation in Newcastle yesterday and they have zero in the way of retro games so it seems this renaissance of cheap N64 titles is limited to ALK's local branch and isn't some companywide initiative.

Even Cash Converters only had a few old Megadrive games in. Retro games are depressingly hard to find on the english high street it seems now.

Lucky you. It's one of Rare's less well-known games, but I've heard good things about it all the same.

If any Rare game deserves a sequel, remake or XBL port, it's definitely JFG.

THREAD UPDATED!!!!!!
After a long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long wait for the new update, it is here at last! Yes, the Nintendo 64 collection thread was not forgotten about! This time, the total number of games rises to 896 individual games, with KeeperBvK owning 335 and Angelic Lapras King coming in 2nd with 93 games. Both of these guys are apparently going for a complete N64 collection! Can it be done? I guess we shall see! Also, please congratulate our newest #1 game, bumping off Pokémon Stadium from the last update: Super Mario 64! Will another title surpass it come next update? We shall see!

BTW, please take a look at your lists for any mistakes or updates. This is not just limited to if you own the games or not, but also to errors in spelling or a Japanese game not being labeled as such. Thank you!

DOH! And here's why: I only updated the master chart and forgot the individual one. Hold on a minute while I get that changed.

EDIT: OK, everything should be good now.

No freakin way, 93? To my mind, I thought it was 70ish, but 93? Yay.

Only real thing I noticed missing is I have 2 copies of Mario Party. One that works and one that does not, properly (Kept as a memory thing).

Right gonna have to think of my 100th N64 game now. XD Maybe the pricey Mario Party 3...

Hmm, I wasn't sure what to do with that. Should I really count non-functional games? Maybe I need to ask about specifics to be sure? Like, if a game turns on, but doesn't save, it still counts, but if it doesn't go past the N64 logo, then it doesn't count? I'm not sure. What does everyone think?

Just count it. It's still a game, and it still exists in his collection, even if he can't play it.

^_^; Sorry yours is not in alphabetical order to make it easier, but you had numbers in front of each game in your first post so it would take a while to get rid of them all. And I will rid of them eventually, but I wanted to concentrate on the main update rather than cleaning up individual user lists.
