Default Tales Of Symphonia- $150 Game?

My Tales Of Symphonia Disk 1 wasn't working, so I casually checked on www.amazon.com for the price... AND SAW THIS.

http://www.amazon.com/Tales-Symphoni...3031915&sr=8-2

PURE INSANITY.

Since it was worth so much, I immediatly did all I could to fix my disk. After an hour of toil and looking at obscure computer websites, I finally managed to fix it.

I guess the moral is the more money, the more motivation.

I picked this up a few years ago for a measly $20 NEW, after playing it at a friend's house for a few hours (I love that friend).

I recommend if any of you see it at a store, GRAB IT. Even the used copies sell for $35 or more.

... INSANITY.

I've routinely seen used copies for around $20 here.

That's just a price gouger. The rest on Amazon Marketplace are going for $74-90
Though that's still a high price.

Just because they're listed for that price doesn't necessarily mean they're going for that price, either. I mean, who would actually buy those when they could get them everywhere else for far cheaper?

Good point. When Wii was really hard to find in previous years scalpers would pull the Wii sports game out of the Wii and sell the Wii for $300-400 and Wii Sports for $40-50. Yes $50. For Wii Sports.

FYI, Wii Sports in Europe and Australia costs that much.

It doesn't COME WITH the console there, or so I hear.

I'm just saying, it would be a good idea to pick it up before it's too late. Look at ALL of the other Tales games (notably the console ones). Notice how they're quite expensive?

I got mine for £25 years ago. Now I feel glad since that game seems to be going up in price. Looking on ebay it can go up to over £40. Wow

$12 used. Probably the best single-player GC experiance, or atleast from my experiance.

BTW Refa how'd you fix it? I'D kind of like a working SA2B

That's crazy.

I got mine in great condition from Amazon for 40 bucks.

$150 is outrageous; I see "okay" copies for $20 at Gamestop all the time.

Until April '08 the Wii only came with Wii Sports here. After that it was also available with Mario Kart Wii and de Blob.

Really? Maybe that's how de Blob has been getting excellent sales.

Or because de Blob is a dutch made game, and that they made an exclusive pack just for the NL (Netherlands) ?

I think Refa is thinking of Japan, which, as far as I know, is the only region where Wii Sports doesn't come bundled with the system.

Your're probably right, just couldn't get my head straight.

I tried the toothpaste method which *#&$*(# the disk up. Luckily, I found an old CD cleaner. Because it was a Game Cube disk (technically samller than a normal disk), I had to hold the disk up (it was one of those rotating CD cleaners).

WOW.

... How could you get Star Fox over Tales Of Symphonia? It's not even a rail shooter Star Fox game (like the original and 64), it's a Zelda one. I think Star Fox belongs in the sky, myself, but it's your money (to waste... l0l).

Which Star Fox did you get? There were two on the Cube and only one was Zelda-like.

A friend of mine got her copy for $30 here and it had only been on the shelf for a few minutes.

Usually it's around $75 or more here.
