Default Retro games on phone?

I am not sure if this is the correct place for this thread, so please move it as necessary (sorry)

I havent seen a thread about downloading Retro games on cell phones? (only retro games not regular phone games)
I DL contra (nes verison) but it was an incredibly shrinked game? the game felt like a cliffs note verison!!! Its also possible to download several retro games on my Tmobile sidekick phone through their download service. (I'll list it below)
I was wondering what is possible to get on different types of phones? Because I am unhappy with Tmobile!! How are the games on the Verizon Voyager phone?? (Please take in account that I am Deaf so I require a full keyboard, so please inquire if your phone has one or not )

here are the games that I see on my Tmobile Sidekick ID download catalog
Contra (looks like the NES verison, but no konami screen, alas no code )
Sonic the Hedgeog
Sonic 2
Mr/Mrs Pacman (I think every phone can get that!)
Afterburner II
Castlevania
Dig Dug
Frogger
Galaga
Gradius
Ikari Warriors
Paperboy
Bust a move

I have only Contra on my phone but I have downloaded (but lost the games when I bought a new version of my phone argh!) Afterburner and Ikari Warriors both were very faithful to their versions but contra was not (same scenes but cut wayyyyyyyyy short, takes me 5 minutes to get to level 4 before I died!) a friend has sonic on his phone and I tried it out and it was pretty good. I just didnt want to pay too much on my phone bill (buy real games instead!)

list what retro games you can see on your download server (verizon owners with keyboards Please list the info, but all phones apply for everbody to see)

I wish my Phone network was a little better about games (especially Retro ones)

I've wanted to download Bonk's Return for quite a while, But I'm on 3 and they don't have it...

Also, pretty much all their games are £5! For a Phone game! It's not really a huge pricetag, but its pretty steep for something you only really play whenever you're thinking "I have games on my mobile... I should play them..."

Thats why I'm not too crazy about downloading phone games, and if I switch to a newer verison I cant transfer the games!!

I have R-type on my phone, its works quite well actually. No other retro games are really up for getting however.

Where do you get phone games apart from a phone browser =\

I don't really care for mobile games to TBH. They feel cut down and too expensive compared to the orginal versions. R-Type is quite cool though if you can handle some of the dodgy music and the cut out 3rd level found in the TG-16 version.

The phone is the last platform on which I'd ever want to play a game. Ugh. Actually, maybe an iPod is last, but a phone is right up there on the list of "not a gaming machine!"

I didn't think I was being very stealthy.
