Exclamation Resident Evil 2

Ok, incase you didn't already know, 'Resident Evil 2' was released on the N64 as well as the PS1, so I'm wondering is it likely that RE2 will be released on the VC? I know Capcom are supporting the VC but is it likely we will see RE2 on here? There also was a GameCube version but it was bad compared to the N64 version.

Ah yes, I remember arguing with some from school back in the day, when he didnt believe me when I said Resi 2 was being released on the N64. XD

I think we could see it, but only when Ninty start to run out of games they developed, since they seem to be focusing on those games at the mo. Mind you, I think it was hinted that we might see Wiimakes on the other RE titles with Wii controls, so who knows?

There's not much point in releasing RE2 (N64) on Wii because there's a much better version of RE2 (Gamecube) out there.

There were a few things better in the N64 version though.
It had no loading times and better graphics. no pixelization. It was originally 2 discs, but Capcom made an uncut port on the cartidge based N64. This came late but showed that the FMV's that only cd based consoles could do at the time, will also fit on one N64 cartridge. A bummer! We could have had Final Fantasy VII.

I dunno, I'd like to see some numbers on that, as I'd guess that FFVII is a lot bigger than Resi2, regardless of FMV. Could be wrong though.

I absolutely love Resi2, and it's certainly in my Top Ten Games ever list (although I've not played 4 yet), so I'd be happy to see it hit VC in some form, although as others have said, it's floating about in other forms anyway. I see the GC version going cheap (under £10 in Gamestation) quite a lot.

Resident Evil 2 for Nintendo 64 would be a good choice on VC, because this is the only Resident Evil game that actually has a chance to be released simply because there are no other RE's on NES, SNES, MD, TG and N64.

BTW: The original Metal Gear for NES would be awesome.

Some interview with the producer who got RE4 on the Wii. Can't remember where it is. ><

I'd love to see RE2 on the VC.
